  • MALUM PROHIBITUM.

  • Or, even better, how about; knowing what at least 60+% of your arrests are going to be(I.e. nonviolent drug arrests); choose a different career path.

  • I am a member of LEAP & have been since the early days. The ONE gripe I have is that it all seems a bit too little, FAR too late. Where we're you guys before your fully taxpayer funded pensions were secured. We need CURRENT LE Officers with the integrity to say, "screw my pension, this is wrong

  • @markarich159

Do you really expect that kid've selflessness from ANYONE?

"Screw my pension" or "screw my job" equates to, to hell with my spouse, to hell with securing a future for my children...

Retired is good enough, if anyone that is optimal because they got all the experience, instead of cutting it short

  • @thefakeyeti Remember I'm a member of LEAP since 2003(I remember talking to Jack Cole at his home phone before they had a website). My point is/was choose your career path based on your principals, not because it comes with a retiring age of 45 y.o. with 100% taxpayer funded pension and the rest of the benefit package(which, I guarantee you, is more then what 95% of private sector citizens can expect). LEAP is great-but the paradigm NEEDS to expand to stop new drug warrior recruits.

  • Ron Paul

  • The 'War on Drugs' is an industry like the "War on Terror". Both are tools to divert funds and tools to bring us into full martial law. Daily, our civil liberties are taken away in the name of protection. Soon we will have no rights unless we wake up now.

  • You stupid Law Enforcement agents trying to arrest people for natural medicine. The government is the reason why people turn to drugs, then they blame the people.

  • My sentiments exactly...

  • There is a serious mental disorder residing in the cops who continue to endanger their lives, as in Utah.

  • Does anybody know Stephen Harper's e-mail address?

  • The prisons for profit industry as well as a corrupt criminal justice system (criminal defense lawyers) The pharmacuetical industry and the phony corrupt medical and insurance industry as well as the tobacco and alcohol industry are the people who are against this because they would lose their monopolies.

  • It's about the truth too. Marijuana is medicine and we continue to be lied to about that for the financial benefit of companies that are supposed to be helping patients not blocking good medicine because they can't patent it!!

  • @NBrown654500 Medical users are going to eventually have to put their necks on the line for the rest of the cannabis users like me who use it for recreational reasons. It's the rec users who were keeping it's private economy going and in the forefront of minds , long before it was ever made legal for medical reasons. It is just a rec drug for many and always will be, and there's nothing wrong with that. So don't stop and say only medical or you can take on Big Pharma yourselves.

  • @Bauks420 No we all need to take this on even non-users because of the total absurdity of the law. It makes no sense with all the evidence we have to continue to make pot illegal.

  • @NBrown654500

big pharma is evil indeed, fuck em

  • But drugs are not the reason i like Dr Ron paul.

  • Ron Paul agrees with you. Vote Ron Paul 2012.
