Very cool film! I used to collect Stones memorabilia. This I have never seen. Apparently from Italian Broadcasting. Looks like they were making a promo for Street Fighting Man, my guess is Mick was going to be super-imposed over war footage, and violent protests. The way Micks hair and groovy suit looks, I would say it was the Fall of '68. Very rare find indeed! Thanks for posting it!

Did you know that Street Fighting Man was released on single (with No Expectations on the flip) in the summer of '68 on the European continent? It was a big nr 1 hit in Germany, at least the Germans could recognize a good song.

I can understand the negative US reaction and censorship, this was 1968, Bobby Kennedy and MLK were dead, shortly after its release the brutal chicago riots and others elsewhere, street fighting man touched a much different chord in america then in germany.  Fantastic song though.
