  • some people have more luck when their born , faith is not seal when you are born , but when your born where your path will go is settle with out you being able to do anything about

  • omg!! I love his cantonese!!

  • at least this is a nice clean concert(sound wise) unlike other concerts where the sound is so homemade.

  • jay chou and his crew are the few, maybe first to play classical music against the white mans will.(changing tempo and making variations) I'm so proud of our asian's talent and creativity. Not being racist here. Just that the white man limit their students and only demand that music be played one way.

  • he's cantonese is adorable haha

  • I looooooooooooooooove it !!

  • this guy is just great!! he is awesome composer,,his piece "secret" it's just too amazing

  • That piano duet was crazy good! And Jay and Yu act like it was no big deal lol

  • @ayalamanga yes, i was misunderstood. my sincere apology. i know VN not a village... it's very rude sarcastic opinion... like i said, i'm so sorry... wrong person, i thought you're naruto without double check my eyes... meant to say it to naruto...

  • @melodieluv his friend - yu hao

  • Omg he sings SOO good O___O

  • well worth to see

  • An Jinggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg wHooooooo yeah

  • I don't understand, seems like there is always a 'classical piano performance' on every Chinese singer's gig/concert, to show-off his/her skills. I am not saying it's bad or anything, I can tell he's a good piano player, but I just found it interesting. Coz you basically palying the same thing; as we all do in classical music. But in a concert? What' the purpose?

  • @stevefp3 Cause it's a Chinese concert, what other reason is there? It's just the way things are. The Chinese like the classics and so they show their respects for the greatest musical compositions of all time in nearly every performance to remind people of the origin of great music. It's pretty admirable that they do that all the time, unlike concerts in the US. Also, Jay mainly does this cause Chopin is like his hero. Don't question his ways, just go with it man.

  • @CommanderRitsu Okay, but it's Jay Chou's performance. Not a classical concert. My point is, if the artist wants to perform classical pieces, I think it'd be more appropriate to have a special classical concert for them. But not in their album concerts. There are many US/EU/UK/AU artists who have classical background but they don't do this on their concerts. I think it's an Asian thing to do ... As a jazz performer, I wouldn't just play a classical piece on one of my gigs. Unless I do sth diff..

  • @stevefp3 You just don't understand the cultural difference between US/EU and the Asias, specifically China where they insert quotes and passages without giving references. In the US it's plagiarism, in most Chinese schools, it's normal, which shows the teacher the student knows what they're talking about. It's a whole different mentality over there, and you simply cannot compare it to the US/EU, especially when artists over here drink/smoke/drugs, while in most Jay Chou's MV, he drinks milk.

  • @CommanderRitsu I do understand the culture. I was born in Asia too. My point is why. I think you started to judge that I am from US/EU, which I am not. It is always wise to communicate without judging you see and ask first. And from the 'tone' of your respond, I could tell you tried to exclude me from Asian-ness. But anyway, you could say anything you want. This conversation is going off-the track from 'music'. My first question was in regards to music, if you noticed - not race/culture.

  • @stevefp3 Race and culture are 100% melded into the way the concerts in that certain race or culture are held. Unless you are only listening to international pop, as an Asian-born musician claiming to be familiar with so many different cultures of music, this should be apparent to you. Though many performers in US/EU may do whatever is popular in the intl music scene, the fact that Jay Chou does what he prefers in his performance is by no means a fault...

  • @jesseluo711 O yea I totally understand that, buddy. I wasn't saying what he did was wrong, or crap, or something. I've seen those things happened to my Asian musicians-friends when he did gigs with Asian artists. Cheers, matey. Good discussion.

  • Grahhh!! I want the sheet music for the whole thing...then I'd do this with my friend hahaha

  • oww... this version is also great! jay is the greatest!

  • @danielyeh You suck. You are a loser.

  • @danielyeh You're such an ugly golduck.

  • @Piedutch No....he has to learn as well because of his Initial D movie which fall before this concert.

  • thought it was turkish march

  • Rondo Alla Turca = Turkish March

  • It's a mozart song...I think it's called Alla Turca =)

  • what is the name of the first song they played?

  • Does he speek Xiangganghua in the beginning (0-0:17)? What does he say?

  • He's speaking cantonese he's saying "Next, I will introduce you to my friend. I hope you can all give him lots of applause ok?"

  • Lol the "girl" sound u talked about is to suit the rhyme and notes of the songs... u can't use Pavarotti voice to sing Michael Jackson songs lol~

  • That's his natural voice lol. He didn't force his voice. If he did, his voicebox will be damaged long ago!

  • WOW!!! they're amazing!!!!!

  • he played any other movie than ''sacret'' ?

  • off the top of my head, he also played in curse of the golden flower and initial d. that's all i remember for now.

  • not sacret but secret,,

  • hes soooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!!

  • lol change lyrics still can sing till so nice XD

  • the second piano part they play together is a personnal variation of the flight of the bumble bee in my opinion. cf rachmaninov's adaptation of the piece for piano

  • nice!!!

  • Whats the name of the second song they played? It's been on the tip of my tounge for ages, but i simply cant remember what classic piece it is! Please, can someone tell me?! .___.

  • Comment removed

  • Flight of the bumblebee

  • Comment removed

  • yes..but can they play with their eyes closed ! Lol

  • maybe they should use 2 hands and 2 legs play at the same time =X

    No bad idea huh?

  • was he speaking cantonese in the beginning for a bit o.O cuz if it was thats the 1st time i heard it lol! no joke

  • It would be nice if I ever saw Jay Chou actually playing. They only show a close up of Yu Hao. How can any piano expert claim to know how Jay plays with this video? And obviously Yu Hao doesn't get that whole "Jay is king of the world attitude" you talk about...since he's always performing with him or letting Jay direct his videos. Just a thought...

  • ....why is his piano pink...

  • He loves pink panter =X

    lol

    no idea either

i think is becasue he wan something

which not everyone have in the concert

  • His piano is not pink. It is white. The lights shine on the piano and that makes the piano look pink.

  • i dun think so

i have look at the piano aready

    is really pink

  • Yeahh.. Cuz if you look at the floor, you see the light is normal colored

  • i like how people LOVE to point out "flaws" in performances

if you believe his vocals weren't great, then how about you post a video of your singing to the song, and we can ALL see how great YOUR vocals are. you can personally give everyone a demonstration of the perfect vocals. CHEERS

  • OMGGG JAY CHOU'S CANTO, even though it's not that great, is sOOOoo SEXY and ATTRACTIVE when he says it.

<3 I'M SOOO FLYING TO HONG KONG for his next concertttt! <3

  • xD I actually understood some of that Cantonese, even though I should.

    He's awesome. <3

  • aw, poor jay! it's so obvious he was very uncomfortable speaking in cantonese! but hey! at least he gave it a try! i have to prop him for trying! even if it was quite entertaining to hear! lol

  • is that piano... pink? lol

  • lol i want to say yes, but i want to say it's all from the lighting since the audience looks kinda reddish-pink. even if it's pink i feel as if only he can pull that off, and be semi okay with it to his fans and media

  • most definitely. Jay and his pink piano... its not something i doubt he wouldnt do... (um, too many negatives...?)

    its still cute though!

  • it is definitely cute! haha

  • hahhahah his cantonese is making me laugh so hard haha

  • lol his cantonese is bad.

  • personally i think gary cao or guang liang has better voices then jay but Jay is still one of my favorite singers.. i don't know why...

hmm maybe its because he hypnotized me? haha :P

  • wow they suck..

  • they murdered the song... sorry

  • well, since too many people give credits to jay chou here, i'll support yu hao!! i think yu hao is better at piano. jay's piano and singing skill is nothing great.seriously.people just support jay because he is cool and famous.

  • dont make me bitch slap you from my back hand

  • omg!! i don't know all jay chou's fans are so cruel and ruthless.

  • I don't agree with you. I support him not just because he's cool and famous. I mean, singers have to be talented, and he definitely has what it takes. Example : The songs he composed.( which is impressive) Can you list singers with great piano skills AND great vocal? His songs are not easy to sing, unless you can convince me otherwise.

  • his vocal is not great. about his songs, we can adjust the key of his songs according to our vocal range if we really want to sing it. like what jacky cheung did when he once sang jay's song. and about my comment previously, i've come across that a lot of jay's fans are too fanatic to their idol..ok ok, i correct it, not all jay's fans are ruthless.

you are not..i respect and appreciate how you defended jay chou and not to offend me back with nasty words, unlike that user below.

  • Not just the keys, songs like 'Fa Ru Xue" is difficult to sing. His vocal is not fantastic, but strangely, its appealing enough to me. Not just jay's fans who are fanatic to their idol, I am sure you will do the same for yours too. Anyway, no offense. Just exchanging our point of view~

  • but they are fanatic until they're blind and delusionised, until offending others with bad words. but i can say that you're not that. i see how you defend him with logic.

  • jj lin

  • How does he became famous then? Definitely not by luck. People like him because he's awesome and not because he's "COOL". Being "COOL" happens to be another bonus point for him. He gained his frame through his compositions, and yea, i think that its not because of his vocal initially. Can yu hao compose good quality songs? But i dont deny Yu Hao's piano skill is good. Better than Jay's? No comment.

  • "omg!! i don't know all jay chou's fans are so cruel and ruthless." Don't jump to conclusions yet, and don't make ridiculous assumptions. Everyone has their own opinion and taste, respect it.

  • This live version is brilliant!!

    Go Jaaaaay!!!!

  • He's amazin!~

  • jay chou is soooooooooo better

  • lol his cantonese isnt that good

  • luv Jay Chou~

  • CUTE.! HAHA. :))

  • What is up with you people? So what, it's a pink piano? Do you even know what this song is about?! It's about a girl he loves and is trying to get over. Uh wow I see the homosexuality in a man loving a girl. I love how every foreign music put on youtube is being criticized. People are pathetic and stupid.

  • his canto is sooo dopeee.

    better than minee XD

  • Look for "alex piano" and vote, please!!

  • waoh!asome start!i want to learn toOOOOOOO!!!!!!^^haha

  • What's the matter with that? As long he can still play that thing wonderfully. And it sounding.

  • lol stop hating u freakin dumbass cause they have different taste than you u

  • it is a white piano dude..just the lighting make it looks pink..dumb

  • LOL it's not being gay. It's called years of practice resulting an awesome skill that you surely do not have.

  • u think he asked for that piano...?

  • i love Jay!

  • Me too

  • jay chou is the best ever!!

  • 好得意ar..^^

  • omg omg. both are damn gd. flight of the bumble bee is so so hard to play!!

  • jay's cantonese is so funny, lol

  • flight of the bumble bee~

    or something.

  • LOL damn cute jay!!

  • OMG HIS CANTONESE IS SSOOOOO EFFIN CUTE!!!!!!! ahahahhhahah

  • whahah he's talking cantonese:P lol
