They a copy cats of the Christian band Petra but I do admire their guitar playing. I describe it as repetition with the odd pick harmonic thrown in for variation. I guess the guitar has reached the limit no one else can really do anything new. That is why the most famous artists these days don't play instruments and leave that to the studio musicians.  My favorite bands are April Wine, Def Leppard, Boston, Cheap Trick, Van Halen. Unfortunately guitar based groups are a dying breed. RIP

I am sorry to disappoint everyone but this sound is SUPER-OLD. They sound EXACTLY like the Christian band named PETRA. I listen to Petra years and years ago. This guy sounds exactly like John Schlitz of Petra. They may play the guitars faster but they have only succeeded in recreating the same old same old sound. Listen to Petra and you will agree.
