i see you asked a month ago and probably already got an answer but the DCCD is a Driver Controlled Center Differential its pretty much a little button on the center console to switch power from fwd to rwd to awd and i believe you can do that while cruising down the road im not sure though..

@dwnrety1 I don't want to sound like a know it all. But the DCCD does not change the car from front wheel drive, to rear wheel drive, to all wheel drive. It merely changes the ratio of power sent to the front and rear diffs. Different years have different ratios. These numbers are an example. Set the DCCD forward and the power will be split 65/35 with 65% being the power sent to the front. Set it in middle it is 50/50, rear is 35/65 and auto is well.....Auto.

i was told buy speedtech not to lighten my flywheel because the 4wd system, so i left it standand oh yea forgot i got a holly fuel pump and boost controlled rising rate fuel reg. i got get some cash together before i can upgrade the ecu lol looking at a microtec or motec my mates got a motec and he's running a standard tdo5 16g and he's doing 10.84@1/4 my best is HRMMM 11.2 lol :(,looking at my dyno figures i'm only using 65% of my injector flow rate..

Future plans include either a p&p'ed and coated big 16g turbo with a larger top mount, a water/meth kit, 550cc injectors, walboro fuel pump, larger hood scoop, lightened flywheel (11 lbs hopefully) and hopefully some tranny work. OR a TDO5H 18g 8cm with all of the above but instead with a front mount, and 620cc injectors. I also forgot to mention im also running a stage 2 exedy clutch, larger diameter IC piping, slotted rotors with ebc red stuff, steel clutch and brake lines!

I had a peice of shit 93 RS Legacy bout 6 years ago.I dropped out the gearbox and pulled the front off it, Welded up the centre diff and banged in some frost plugs into it, Pulled apart the outer c.v joints and put thm back on the hubs. It lasted a year before i sold it and its still going strong on 12psi it would 3rd gear stand still on 205/40/17's

well im running the wrx not sti right now but catless grimmspeed uppipe, helix downpipe, HKS hi-power exhaust (love that sound) lightened pullies, short ram intake, oil catch can, and p&p stock turbo. As for the suspension im running cusco swaybars all round, and now that its the summer i have the rears (22mm) set to the stiffest setting for my beloved oversteer, stiffer lowered springs. Tower strut bars and soon to have a polyurethane bushing overhaul (thank god).
