Hey... Ive been searching from many places, but I ask you to help me in one thing. I love Hungarian food, but now Im vegetarian, so can you give me some Hungarian vegetarian recipes...?
According to scientific researches Irish people have ties with turks. It is said that turkish farmers went to the island which is today called ireland. I can also imgaine ties between irish people and (hun)garians.
The "hun" term is a turkish word and means ten. Just as the "on-ok"-turks( ten-arrow-turks). It is most propable that hungarians and turks are related.

@ijaszlevi ...yes...I am romanian from Bucuresti. I have also a friend in Budapest who perform the traditional dances and I know something more because he had to tell me what they dance. I know the sound of romanian trad music Transilvania,Oltenia,Moldavia...
@ijaszlevi ...no friend....The hungarians who sing the traditional romanian music present that as "hungarian music"....it is strange but not unusual ...ex: The hymn of state Israel...is "Cucuruz cu frunza-n sus" exactly the same....listen....
@silviuverdes Kodály and Bartók és other music sciencists solved which music is Romanian and which music is Hungarian in the XXth century. However very interesting the Romanian languauge uses many Hungarian loan words. The begining of the XIXth century there were more Hungarian origin loan words in the Romanian language, but the Romanian language neologism movement decreased artificialy. (We were good neighbor until the begining of the nationalizm in the XVIIIth century and we will be again.)
Technically Romania is supposed to be part of Hungary. After ww1 most of "your country" was created after many treaties from remnants of Hungary. So Transylvanian music is just old Hungarian music.
Been to Hungary,Nice place to go,honestly. However language is 2 hard to learn, especially grammatical aspect.Nevertheless music is so lovely, pretty much similar to Romanian,Ukrainian and Slovakian.HUNGARY YOU ARE FANTASTIC!!!!
This is not gipsy. This is fast Csardas from Transylvania from county called Kalotaszeg, but the musicians whas gipsy players and the best player whas Fodor Sándor Netti and he whas gipsy.

Tipical Romanian folk music from Transilvania (Romanian) The Hungarians sing our romanian music from this region. The Hungarian folk trad. music is also beautifull ! but different. What you listen here is the soul of the romanians... Hungary-Romania 2 different cultures...
Fortunately Béla Bartók, Zoltán Kodály and others gathered the folk music in Transylvania from the Romanians and the Hungarians as well. So the music sciences can decide on which music origins from the Hungarians or the Romanians. Béla Bartók used much music motive from the Romanian folk music.
I hope the two neighbour people the Romans and the Hungarians become friend and stupid nationalism and sovinism become bad past, same to France and Germany.
I do not say is bad. There are more many mixed Hungarian+Romanian...I had to see from tv Budapest csardas + calusari (Oltenia) mixed show dances...The Hungarian schools of trad.dances are many and nice performing...but I see the vocal solists trad folkmusic really disapeared ! (?)
The stringed music instruments origin from Inner Asia. The inventors were iranian, turkian, mongolian tribes. String was made from hair of horse, the bow origins from archery.
Greetings from Alba (Scotland)!
