  • lembra nirvana mesmo

  • It's D, F#, B, G power chords, then it switches over to E (on the 7th fret), A, F#, to G. That's clearly D major but that's a motherf****n sweet ass riff!!!

  • What's the cord progression, anyone?

  • @9MAGGOT4LIFE just play in dm

  • I'm frolicking through green grass, flowers and a sunny day with my axe...It's like a first date once again....

  • play it with a b minor pentatonic :)

  • lol... "met a girl...."

  • LITHIUM COPY

  • @nashie899 it's only base for practice your guitar solos, if you are a dumb with no music instruments, shut up.

  • @ODISOCIAL i'm sorry, i didn't realise i was "a dumb". I'll take my 8 years playing experience and my seven guitars and shut up then.

  • lovely beats :-}

  • Can't Stop playing to this Track!

  • that sound very good

  • i played d major pentatonic over it with a strat on clean tone, sounded like dino jr and made me grin.

  • @warchild1976

Dude, listen to Tenacious D's "The Metal" :)

  • I don't like the drums.

  • sounds like birdshit, try ripping a melody off of better grunge bands like alice in chains or pearl jam

  • @Chandlorexia I actually just made a song on my guitar; specifically a heavy riff that sounds similar to Alice In Chains and wrote some lyrics that sound like Alice In Chains, its awesome

  • these clips are great for hobbyist nerds like me to practice on but it would help immensely to display the chord progression.

i can get started on this from D to G i think but other cool tracks arent so easy.

adding a chord graphic along with the audio would make these backing track vids the greatest thing since sliced bread.

  • Sound NOTHING like Nirvana ;)

  • love it, it sounds like one of those song by Nirvana, very good ;)

  • this sounds like lithium by nirvana

  • @Kyyp3r

    yeah yeah!!

  • I love backing tracks. They help me devise new playing styles. I love using the wah pedal with this one for example.

  • Awesome thanks. These videos are so helpful when learning modes. Really helps make studying fun.

  • i was expecting for something as heavy as bleach, this is pop rock, not grunge (yeah lithium IS a pop rock song)

  • @user3182 TOTALLY agree. I was hoping some early years Nirvana kinda grunge shit but...this is more than nothing

  • i would so use this to solo over live

  • can anyone tell me the chord progression

  • trying to jam bass to this is difficult i cant work out the chord progression to work off :/

  • I actually used this in a guitar lesson to jam with ^^

  • Why is the person who owns this channel so touchy about what his back tracks are based off of? Settle down. This is obviously Lithium, who cares, anyone who wants to jam to Grunge probably doesn't mind some Nirvana.

  • cool something diatonic cheers man

  • oh men i love the les paul gibson

  • What's the chords? Thanks!

  • yea, If you dont like this....DONT COMMENT ASSHOLES! You can Creamer my backing tracks anytime! that sounded kinda gay....butt the point is...assholes and comments dont mix????

  • @ralphisgutz butting the point also sounds kinda gay

  • very nirvana... :)

  • hi man, can you tell me about the effects using in this song? that will be helpfull for me, thanks!

  • I fucking love jamming to this! Puts me in a really good mood! I tried playing in a B Minor track and it wasn't as fun and cheerful as this (I know, Bm and DMaj are identical keys)

  • Im so happy cuz today i found my friends..

  • lithium by nirvana ! sound a like..

  • You always provide a good track to jam too. Thanks.

  • @warchild1976 Grunge tried to kill the metal...

  • D major F# and b minor sound amazing

  • That's because this is in D major and F phrygian and B minor have the same notes as D major, so you're probably playing in D major all of the time.

  • @guitarfiend2231 F# sorry

  • luv the lithium feel

  • it died long ago

  • No. Kurt died long ago. Grunge didn't.

    R.I.P...

  • is how lithium - nirvana

    Up Grunge :D !

  • i like this still

  • So is grunge dead?

  • @LeeChavezMusic Depends

I mean Alice are back in bussines so is SG ad PJ have been going for years

But the core is kinda gone

  • No. Go listen to Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Puddle of Mudd, (Nickleback) and im sure you will find something suitable.

  • No. Go listen to Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Puddle of Mudd, (Nickleback) and im sure you will find something suitable. Oh and did I mention Foo Fighters?

  • can i have a tabs pleas '?

  • Man...just shut up. It's obviously the same chord progression...there are 1 million more songs with the exact same progression...if you don't like this track...don't comment,.

  • @CreamerMusic Exactly. If people want backing tracks in a set diatonic key (which makes soloing in a given scale easier) then they have to expect something they will have most likely heard before! Great track.

  • @grungefreak91

haha ya it does sound the same but its not an exact rip off...plus its a great track to jam 2

  • This Sounds alot Like Nirvana - Lithium

  • @ttsatnav

    i agree

  • @ttsatnav lol i know right? XD

  • @ttsatnav it's meant to

  • @ttsatnav It is yaaay!!! xD

  • @ttsatnav yeah i know huh lol

  • @ttsatnav Maybe this should get tittle "Smells like the Lithium" ? :)

  • @ttsatnav the very beginning 4 chords are

  • I love this sound!

    TC the Grunge Dog....

  • This sounds something Nirvana-ish, but remember, Grunge isn't a genre, grunge is something they used to label a bunch of bands from Seattle, Nirv and Alice don't sound anything alike, yet they're both classified under grunge.

On a side note, I love this <3 lol

  • Yeah a little too happy. If its sounded a little darker its would be pretty nice.

  • Brilliant!

  • D major sounds fine.

  • yup D major/B minor

  • this isnt grunge, its far tooo happppy

  • @kurt5000yh grunge can be happy or sad. Just because alot of Nirvana's work is moody does not dictate that all grunge music is only grunge because it has an unhappy mood. Grunge only refers to stylistic things. I personally think it just needs the sound a little dirtier when the distorted guitars kick in, with some feedback.

  • sorry but this just sounds like Pop.

and people have given me 3 thumbs up soo :/

  • The chords are D F#m Bm and A x2, Em A F#m G. Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm still practicing my ear.

  • i believe it is D, Bm, D Bm then Em, A, F#m G. feel free to slide up to A again to give it some power at the end. haha correct me if im wrong but thats how ive been playing it, ill post a video in a little bit

  • Actually, I think you're correct, but incomplete. In the progression you posted, for it to sound correct you need to play D for two bars and Bm for two, then repeat. In my progression you play every chord for one bar. Hope that makes sense somehow.

Anyway, sliding up to A sounds a lot better then leaving it at G.

  • yeah my bad i was all tryin to think about what chords they were and not how many counts u hold it. haha but yeah thats right. awesome jam track tho im in love with this one.

  • I absolutely agree :)

  • You guys are awesome! How do you develop your ear? Can you tell me how to get started?

  • @ChaoticRain1

play for at least an hour a day, go and look for video's showing you techniques, get some of your favourite songs that you don't think would be too difficult and just try and hear where everything goes until you get them solid, and most importantly learn scales. i'd go for E pentatonic and E major scale. google to find out what i'm talking about, but most of all its just practice. AND exercising your fingers all the time by just wiggling them about.

  • haha i think : lithium :D in the beginning :) its very good this!

  • tnx again man 4 posting dis new backing tracks..

  • Thanks for uploading all these tracks bro! Appreciate it.

  • Glad to see you back :)

    I Love your JamTracks.
