I have very childish friends that I find myself straying away from, and sometimes I feel like I'm in the wrong because-> [they] seriously need help, I almost feel like I'm placed in their life to help them so it's hard for me to walk away, when indeed they work my nerves!

meachy girl!! I love you!!!! I am a 26 year old " old soul" and I agree. The first lesson that I learned as an adult is that being an adult doesn't mean your mature nor grown up! I've always had someone who was soo into what I was doing. They tried to destroy or unveil 'who I truely was"! LOL I've learned to focus on those whom care for me. I LEARNED to LOVE and PRAY for those who despise me. MOST of my friends are in their 30's and up. They are focused and grounded.

Girl this is just what I needed to hear, I work with people who LOVE to NOT LIKE me. They are so immature, and it's hard to shake it off, but childish? Yes, and it's terrible to be around that negativity and even in my earliest years, I was not into that behavior and it depresses me that some people are just mean to be that way. Be blessed!

I am 22 and I am the SAME way, I know that I am still really young and I still have a lot to learn. But I was over that "high school" Bull crap as soon as I graduated from high school. Now I don't really have any close friends and I don't go out much but I still think it's better than having fake friends who cant be happy for me! ......also my mom is 44 and she has ZERO tolerance, and she says that came with age!!

(My thoughts on the situation) I understand just what you are saying. There are people who are over the age of 40 and are all about mess. I do not entertain them. I will call a person out. I do not like he say, she say, never have. Honey pray for them and keep it moving.

I'm 23 and I happen to run into people older then myself who just refuse to grow up and live their own life...Always so concerned with what everyone else is doing that their own life isn't going anywhere...It's sad really cuz you can't change them all you can do is keep on doing you.
