because they last longer and they assemble them better . departments spend less time "working the bugs out of new trucks " plus they look better i like the interior design better

@chechnya ummm yeah............. you need to back your facts up. i ride on a 2004 ferrara igniter about 2 days a week . our Ferraras are rock hard. peirce is better off in rural areas. i reall dont think you know wat your talking about. our ferrara engines dont barley go to the shop at all. only for a routine check up, or to install something new to the rig

@HFD97FIRE2 Have you ridden in anything other than Ferrara or Pierce? How can you come to the conclusion that "Pierce is the greatest?" Have you ridden in ALL apparatus manufacturers trucks?

@chechnya arent you the one that came to the conclusion that peirce is the greatest if not true'est apoliges .i came to back up that Ferrara's are amazing and are great quality trucks. ill give you a list of apparatus ive ridden Mack, Stuphen, Ferrara, American Lafrance, Peirce. Ferrara is my favorite and my life time rig.
