  • Just a curious question, what did all the conversion parts / sights cost you?

  • @zerg1011 I don't remember, it's been two years. Check out my latest AR-15 build video. Just go to my channel page and look for "Basic AR-15 Parts and Configurations." Good luck.

  • Getting one as soon as my tax return comes in!

  • Would you be willing to sell any of the accessories you took off of your gun?

  • @macdiehl14 no thanks. I don't need the money or the hassle of mailing things. Good luck.

  • I have never seen a mount like that for the harris bipod, interesting

  • its not saturday is it?

  • Where did you get that ACOG?

  • Back up irons?

  • just 5 more months. XD

  • 2:11 on the shelf... (:

  • Can you install the ubr on an Ar-10? (sorry if is a n00b qstn)

  • Very good stuff. Thanks for sharing.

  • I wish I had the money for a Trijicon ACOG, AimPoint, and an ACS. I just put a cheap holo sight on mine, but it works, I wish I could get an ACOG on mine though. The ar looks great! Mine's also in od.

  • black and tan/od green, ar15s are the best looking!

  • Does the stock have a small place on it to store things? I noticed what looked like a little door on it.

  • My duty weapon is an M4 (Colt AR15) I'm looking at M&P AR15 5.56. Any suggestions as to what model to look at?

  • @illinoisboy84 I love my M&P15 "Sport"....if you plan to add to it this is a great model.

  • How much did you pay for that acog? And where did you buy it? Id like to buy one for the right price.

  • um it loaded and on fire sems like a good idea

  • @MrAr15lover guessing you don't know much about ar15's.....seems about right

  • your a retard

  • @movier1243 and "your" banned.

  • If you cant hit 600 yards with iron sites, then you suck. Also don't come to Alaska, we shoot to KILL :)

  • @WINNL You have never shot a gun in your life. At 600 yards with iron sites LOL unless your shooting at a tank . You either have the best eye sight in the world or you dont know the difference from 600 YARDS OR 600 FEET.

  • I hate to say that the iron sights ontop of the trijicon are very unacurate

  • Nice AR man i just bought a AR-15 458. Socom from Rock RIver Arms. Cant wait until i start up grading.

  • How much did all of this cost?

  • you have great taste.

  • Im asking for an AR for Christmas, got any idea what a good one to get would be?

  • @TheLeadspreader yep, you can't go wrong with the following: LaRue, Daniel Defense, Bravo Company, Knights Armament, and Colt. Good luck and I hope you get an AR!!!

  • @theroadwarri0r Thankya sir!

  • @TheLeadspreader also a good cheap ar15 is a DPMS orical

  • the 223 is only a 500 yard gun with a 20in barrel and LaRue is junk but everything eles you got is pretty good

  • @TheCaptonZ please back up your statement on why you feel LaRue is junk. EVERY piece of kit I've EVER used/bought from LaRue has been tier 1 and top shelf. Back up your negative review or it will be dismissed by everyone. We don't make blanket statements condemning gear on my channel without facts.

  • @theroadwarri0r How can I back it up with out proof, your one of those people who just because you owne a gun you think your a expert. Its just like with my dad he told me keltek was the best and I kept saying no dad there pices of shit he only relised I was correct when his blew up on him. And the reason why I said LaRue was junk is because I owned there red dote and I was great untel I droped it from 4ft and then the thing fucked up and would never hold zero. Now I have a aimpoint and love it.

  • @TheCaptonZ dude, post the specific model of the LaRue optic you are hating on. Until then, see ya. Seriously. Details or it didn't happen.

  • @theroadwarri0r What the fuck, do you want me to send your a recet as well or video tape the guy I bought it from then have it legalized by a paralegal, and even if you think that the model will conferm the truth of the story whos to say I just dont go to there website and get a model of one of the red dote. And buy the way details proov shit.

And by the way what would be the point in lying.

  • @theroadwarri0r and by the way your gun is nice not saying its not.

  • @TheCaptonZ 500yds with a 20" barrel is like shooting fish in a barrel. I think someone needs more range time :)

  • @energytomatter at 500 yards the bullet drops 24in and the energy is 465 fps and its 28in diff with a 10mph wind and thats with military grade full metel jacket I garentee you have never taken a shot past 500 yards with consistancy, your a lying fag who like to take it up the ass every night.

  • @TheCaptonZ like I said, you need more range time. I shoot with a group over here on the west coast that hits steel all day long at 650 yds. Grow up little man.

  • @energytomatter The you have the best luck in the world.

  • @TheCaptonZ You sound like a young kid, so maybe to you it is luck. It's just what happens when you take your time, know your conditions and make your shot. Instead of thinking you know it all, try taking a learning approach, it might yield better results. Who knows, maybe next time you would be on the other side of this argument.

Spend some time on the range, work up your own loads, and learn how to shoot. There are a couple guys in my group who can dial a plate at 300m with irons...

  • @energytomatter I can confirm 600+ meter hits with my M-4. It's not a big deal. Thanks for posting some reality here.

  • @theroadwarri0r Yeah no worries. I regularly ring the gong out past 500m. I think this kid ought to go watch some LR matches and ask those guys about bullet drop and speed. I'm not sure where he got his numbers or reasoning, but a bullet going from 3100fps to 450fps in 500m is a bit skeptical :) I don't go subsonic with my loads until out past 600m, and some loads can reach 700m before going sub. 24" drop compared to what zero? and not hitting something with a rifle at 500yds? interesting stuff.

  • dear santa...

  • Nice video, you got some high end gear. I just sighted in my spikes build at a 25m military target with the A2 carry handle. Next time I go to the range I want to get more of a honed in zero; any tips ? What distance should I do a better zero at?

  • forget these other haters man good vid!

  • that's a nice rifle for sure, ill be happy to just get a Remington 700 and a leupold come tax season

  • everyone loves to argue lol. we're all shooters here, we all have our different opinions, but at the end of the day we all share a common love of shooting, so relax.

  • @cchtx7 So you are trying to say at 600 yards a 223 from an AR will hold 6 inch groups? HAHA mabey 1 foot groups, and with the ACOG, good luck. It is the winds toy past 350-375. The 223 is too light to shoot to 600 yards, and I would put my money on it bouncing off of a solid object at that range (being an FMJ). With perfect conditions a shot out to 600 yards is like using a 22 LR to shoot someone. It will not (esp FMJ) carry the stopping power to do nearly anything at that range.

  • @legoman05 i think you directed that comment at the wrong person dude

  • @legoman05 i think you replied to the wrong person....

  • 2:08

    Anonymous.

  • I thought the video was good! Some people dont know anything i think this video would help them! One thing i would do is get a vortex flash hider!

  • Nice video keep it up

  • How do you create the one piece rail system that connects the hand guard all the way over the delta ring and to to the rear? My rifle has a separate handguard rail and a separate flat top rail but I would love to be able to bridge the two with one solid length rail, anybody know how?

The two of them are flush and level, is their any way to do this?

  • Nice AR15! My next gun :)

  • Are you suggesting you can plink targets at 600 yds. with those mini-mods?

  • @JadedRockStar84 The 5.56 round has no problem hitting a target at 600 yds. Will the round put the target down? Maybe, maybe not. There are so many variables involved. But, the round can and will reach 600 with that barrel. I personally would not chose an AR 15 as a long range weapon. That is not what it was designed for.

Personally, I'd go with a .300 WSM or a .338 Lapua. Regardless of philosophies, this is a very nice weapons platform.

  • @detox8388 I spent a lot of time using a NATO 5.56, and I can assure you, you won't be hitting point targets at 600 yds much. Maybe if the target is a truck and you just try to hit it somewhere on the vehicle, but if a person is standing 3/8 mi. away, that little red dot won't be effective. Neither will the NATO 5.56.

  • @JadedRockStar84 I should re-phrase my comment. I did not mean this specific weapon. What I meant was that a 5.56 62gr, being sent from a 20 in. barrel, with a 1/7 in. twist will reach out to 600yrds, and will hit a human sized target. With the proper doping/ hold and an experienced/ well trained shooter, a 5.56 should hold at 1 MOA at that range.

  • the trigger gaurd is not stock on that AR.. just sayin

  • Cool vid, I'm considering getting an AR-15 myself...eventually. For someone that hasn't assembled a gun before (if I get it from a certain place it will arrive in pieces) should I attempt to put it together on my own or should I take it to a gunsmith to do it for me?

  • @insaneshadow85 If by "pieces," you mean upper/lower receiver, handguards, butt stock, BCG, etc. then you can do it yourself, but if your meaning a stripped lower, I'd recommend a gunsmith.

  • Why the hell do you have the gun loaded while your not shooting... that's just dumb.

  • @MrCcrunner2011 big boy rules bud. You do your thing, I'll do mine. Don't like it, go away and don't watch my videos. I don't need you.

  • @theroadwarri0r AMEN BROTHER!

  • @MrCcrunner2011 What good is a firearm if it isn't loaded? You either live in California or don't own guns.

  • Thanks for the vid! Don't mind all these dumb comments. They make up a very, very small percentage of the views. Keep it up please!

  • I'm interested in buying your old stock I am not a kid btw lol I'm 18 and I purchased a m4 and would like to buy that old stick it's the one I want

  • nice thanx

  • in my opinion, i would just leave the acog on, the closest target should be no more than 30 yrds away... any closer and i would pull my glock 21!!!

  • Good video...

  • FYI AR-15 does not stand for assualt rifle-15 it stands for armalite rifle, named for the manufacturer that first designed the platform, assault rifle is a term that congress made up during the brady act era to scare the public

  • Nice Guy Fawkes mask, Anon.

  • i love the extremely right wing sticker haha i want one what doest the one behind it say

  • will the front iron site get in the way of a aim point

  • Hey i know its an old video but what website would you recommend getting upgrades from, I've been using cheaperthandirt but i feel like its not a certified site. Also would you say a S&W M&P15 is a good AR?

    Thanks

  • @ACDCdude953 Riflegear, Brownell's

  • @pyrolowryder Brownells is excellent! Ive ordered a LOT of parts and refinishing materials from them. Have had nothing but good service. Also there is Midway, J&G Sales and Gamaliels shooting supply.

  • Nice Video

  • Any decent reflex optics you could recommend to someone on a tight budget?

  • just stupid kids hitting up videos to seem cool. i havent tried the acog yet since the m.c. but i love my eotech 512. great looking a.r.!!

  • everything you have done to that in this video would not really be considered an upgrade. The rifle still preforms the same, you just made it more comfortable for the shooter. Now i'm not to big on upgrades but for a start i'd get a chrome bolt instead of a black because it absorbes less heat and doesnt attract as much dust as the black bolt does.

  • @Striker51z another high school so called YouTube weapons expert? You don't know what the hell you're talking about. Chrome bolts are just easier to clean and more expensive. I don't think I need to take correction from someone that isn't old enough to own a pistol. Be cool, stay in school. Thanks.

  • @theroadwarri0r I never said I was an expert, heck I said the exact opposite. If you were upgrading a fire arm, you are either replacing the bolt carrier, bolt head, firing pin, extracter, reciever, rail system, barrel, recoil spring, trigger assembly or anything that improves the gun's accuracy, range, or reliability. Adding a new stock(it varries on the gun) doesn't do any of that . Ok, so if a black bolt doesnt attract more heat then explain why you sweet more in black clothing then white?

  • @Striker51z Your right and your wrong on this one. Black clothes attracts a lot more sunlight than white. Hence you sweat a lot more. On the Bolts..It doesnt make much difference. Equal heat gets to both. The stainless allows heat to dissipate faster. Plus it does keep cleaner and is easier to clean. But it doesnt last as long and is more expensive.Your young...Just takes asking questions and listening. You have a really good general idea though. Keep it up lil bro.

  • @Btz1911 ok, thanks i guess, lol. But how does the chrome bolt not last longer?

  • @theroadwarri0r

Well that is what.. 2.5k worth of upgrades? Most people don't know how to actually even use some of those products to their full potential.. Do you think an acog will make you make hits at 600 meters with a .223 bullet? Most people can hardly get them sighted in, more or less make hits past 200 meters. Anyway A quality Bolt is a very important part of an ar-15. A quality barrel, hbuffer, and a quality parts kit will take you a long way. Just playing devils advocate here.

  • @jcm151 did you even watch my most current video on the AR-15 platform? Thanks.

  • @theroadwarri0r chrome bolt actually helps out alot... so does a chrome line barrel with a 1:9 twist too

  • @jcm151 Wow, you're pretty quick to defend there. It's not like he insulted your mother or anything.

  • @fukuzato33 Well this is an open forum, we can all disagree.. I wasn't rude or disrespectful... Just giving my two cents. I build ar-15s from the ground up with all custom parts, after about 30 of them I have come to find what is important to me, what works for me, and what doesn't. I didn't like the way he got so defensive.. So I was just pointing out that all that stuff can't fix fundamental shooting problems, AND a $1000 acog won't help you when your bolt breaks b/c it isn't of high quality.

  • @jcm151 its funny because the high school sco called youtube weapons expert is right well people dont like it when other people are right hahahha

  • i'd like to convert mine to have a monolithic rail and a precision adjustable stock does anyone know where i could buy good quality parts at a cheap price i was hoping around 300 would be enough

  • Dude you sound just like Kevin Costner!! Nice vid!!

  • Good video btw, thanks for sharing, I like the upgrade AR videos.

  • I have the Aim Point Micro H-1, love it can't say enough great things about it. I can say go with the real deal, don't get a clone or you'll be sorry!

  • nice rifle, good customisation... i´d buy that if i weren´t living in a small bitch country that does not allows them....

  • You need to upgrade that basement wall...more topcoat sand smooth prime and get some of that "green" color you prefer - LOL!

  • Appreciate the info from DSG Arms, got a complete Magpul furniture kit (MOE), in black though.

  • i guess you dont practice your weapon safety rules...complacency kills

  • @bwtenbrink so does a low IQ. Move along.

  • @bwtenbrink Where is you vid on weapons safety?

  • @bwtenbrink Where is you vid on weapons safety? What rules?

  • Nice setup.

  • Damn, I wish we were allowed this shit in the UK

  • @JoeyMacaroniPenguin lol sucks for you man

  • Foot ball texas has the mose leanent gun laws my state floridas #2

  • nice rifle! can't wait to get some things for my ar.

  • @717717josh The concept of Road Warrior is from what I gather a common sense view of a bad situatuion. You dont see a 2 million round drum and 8 kinds of flashlights and lazers gonig onto this gun. And do you understand how stupid humans can get? When you see a drop in money in any country crime goes up. People will try to survive no matter who gets hurt. No point in you being a victim when you currently havethe tools to be ready for anything. Thats what i get from this anyway,

  • lol Guy Fawkes mask @ 2:07 makes this video!

  • hey could you buy an ar15 in texas?

  • Great video, you wouldn't happen to still have that Magpul ACS would you?

  • @ShadowsOfMisfortune Yeah, I have it. I like spares. Why?

  • @theroadwarri0r I was wondering if you wanted to sell it, but if you like spares, I can manage :)

  • my favorite piece of kit that i saw in this video is the Guy Fawkes mask

  • awesome upgrades, love Larue. what brand ACOG and how much? thanks

  • @thedudecarrying TA-01 NSN, over $1k

  • @thedudecarrying TA-01 NSN, over a thousand dollars.

  • I have a few questions, I know your military (Army?) but are you 11B? Also how much did you pay for your ACOG?

  • He is replacing the Magpul ACS stock with the Magpul UBR stock ,dang. Here is the link describing all the different Magpul stocks.

Look on Magpuldotcom and you will see.

  • don't like it because it has a very long barrel.

  • Rifle starts out with the ACS and then he installs the UBR. All you have to do is watch the first 2 minutes and he SAYS he is changing the ACS to the UBR, both of them are in the video people.

  • @LosingKeys1 you are right

  • shits on fire, and has a loaded clip in it GENIUS !!!

  • Why does everyone keep saying its an acs, the old stock is the one that looks like the acs the new one is deffinatly a ubr. Dont see why everyone thinks they know what you bought, you bought it you know what it is lol but nice rifle anyways looks nice

  • Its a magpul ACS! I have a UBR and thats not it

  • @Manzgear watch the video for more that one minute moron.

  • @Lonewolf6565 ok so what I was talking about the initial stock....you can correct someone and thats fine. but when you want to call them a name, just cause I didnt watch the whole video.....well I'll just say this. its best not to make enemies of people you know nothing about....and that is as polite as I can be.

  • great stuff i do agree but if someone wants to get 600 yrd one shot kills.. do not upgrade a 5.56/.223 M4 Rifle. 7.64/.308 M14 is a long rang with definite kill shot. not to say Roadwarrior has a bad setup its great but just saying the 5.56 is a weak caliber. so check out a M14 before you buy!

  • Hello, anon. Nice masks.

  • dont ar15 have a pin malfunction

  • great video

  • Holy Moly....that ACOG is sick. Though costs as much at the whole rifle. Would love one. Great upgrade to your rifle!

  • Its EASY to upgrade an AR!! All you need is several thousand dollars worth of accessories !!! :P

  • is that a trijicon acog?

  • holy s**t trigicon and a aimpiont and you bought a crappy bushmaster?

  • bushmaster?should have droped a little more on the rifle than the bolt on crap.

  • Easy, yes. Cheap, no.

  • Gear queer.

  • You should have put on a free float rail

  • acog is not where near able to shoot out 600-1000 yards at least 1-2 moa 300-400 yards i would agree with you

  • your not on safety and you have rounds in the mag...

  • does anyone know the name of the stock on that ar; its a nice stock but i forget the name...

  • @bIGnmIZTEE2 magpul UBR

  • @theroadwarri0r no, magpul acs.

  • @theroadwarri0r dude that's a Magpul ACS not the UBR :-p

  • @aodhanof90 no, it's a UBR.

  • @theroadwarri0r You said in your video it was an ACS. I KNOW ALL MAGPUL PARTS. It is an ACS.

  • @1776PatriotTeen the stock in the beginning on the rifle is an ACS, and the one that he shows later in the vid is a UBR.

  • @theroadwarri0r oh wait sorry I didn't see the UBR stock you bought.

  • @theroadwarri0r def. not a ubr, plus you say its a magpul acs in your video at 1:20...nice looking rifle though...i'll be putting a ubr vid up in a couple days

  • Comment removed

  • @theroadwarri0r acs stock

  • @theroadwarri0r its an ACS according to the magpul website.

  • dude that's a Magpul ACS not the UBR :-p

  • watch the video again, he says the name of every stock he uses, don't be lazy. the installed stock is the MAGPUL ACS, the new stock is a MAGPUL UBR

  • Anon... let me know if you ever come to Southern California i wanna go shooting with you.

  • i think i am in love with that weapon....

  • You wouldn't happen to still have that Magpul ACS? Looking to sell it?

  • Nice mask on the shelf

  • love the vids. check out some of mine sometime.

  • i have a oa ar 15 and its taced out lol but i hunt with it..the m4s m16s and ar15s r good for just about everything...with a ar if u can thank it u can most likey do it and thats y just about everybody loves em..

  • An assault rifle is full auto. this is not an assault rifle.

  • what brand of scope was that
