season 2 was awful. i really disliked it, mainly because of that crappy love triangle with betty, gio and henry. which i really didn't care for and as it was so annoying. plus, season 2 wasn't that good and nor was it that funny.
i liked season 3 because the focus was back on the characters, and it helped given they got rid of that love triangle and all those silly things that happened in season 2.

@wchngliu81 Yeah season 2 wasn't great because Ugly Betty was part of that whole writers strike thing back in 2007, so after the strike finished they didn't have much time to write the next season and they had to rush it.
