@PhillieRhymez yes the intro is sampled. this is logic pro 8. i have protools but i never invested time in it... i head reason does have a lot to offer and my friend told me to check it out.. i think its a matter of personal preference. im very comfortable using logic since i know it. i dont have any real training so my knowledge outside of logic isnt that great, although i do love all the things logic has to offer. It's an amazing program.

Recycle take your loop and it slices it automatically by looking at spikes and slopes in the audio and you can adjust the sensitivity to what looks good. You can even listen to the slices if you'd like to make sure they are sliced how you want them. Now export the slices to WAV files (to build your sample library for later) then save the file as a REX file. Now you can open in your sampler which is included in most DAWs (Logic-ESX24, Reason-NT64? it's NT something it's been awhile since I used

@IamMasterF Basically all rap songs are sampled then usually resampled that's why they sound so much a like. Sampling is an art, and to be a good producer it's a must to know. Find a song preferably an instrumental of that song chop it up in any program that allows you too but chop it into 30-45 Second loops (just the sections you like the sounds) Now that you have your loops you can manually chop them into smaller usable samples (hope you have a lot of time!) orr use a program like Recycl

@PhillieRhymez yes the intro is sampled. this is logic pro 8. i have protools but i never invested time in it... i head reason does have a lot to offer and my friend told me to check it out.. i think its a matter of personal preference. im very comfortable using logic since i know it. i dont have any real training so my knowledge outside of logic isnt that great, although i do love all the things logic has to offer. It's an amazing program.
