A lot of illnesses can be spread through hand to hand contact with others. This is often how stomach flu's get around so quickly in dorms and among friends. I am pretty sure the dirty bathroom is to exemplify how unclean our surroundings can be and washing at the end is the resolution. Great Job!

I like the perspective of the hands- it's certainly effective. it's a cool video. nice job. i still think that most germs are ok for the body... but there r certainly a few that will ruin your day. better safe than sorry, like they say.

That was a commons apt bathroom and I have seen SEVERAL that were just as gross, except with orange-mold-stained shower curtains, so.... slightly worse.

Dorm bathrooms are not much better! They often have multiple instances of vomit or other bodily fluid 'spills' per day.

And yet, microbes mutate when we vaccinate. They simply adapt to kill us better =)

Overall, it was pretty good. I don't know if I am just a cynic, but not only is everywhere covered in germs but most of these germs are harmless. That does not mean I disagree with this film; only that I am slightly too obsessive. Plus, that was not even a college park bathroom - we don't get nice sinks or color in our dorms (we do get them cleaned though).

I agree with zuzu. Very entertaining. I was thinking along these lines today when I pressed the elevator button.

I think it also would have been interesting (if possible) to show cards being swiped at the gym. People will cough on them, put them in their mouths, pull them from interesting places etc Not very sanitary
