The more I watch them, the more I appreciate how good they were at creating so many different harmonies, and using the voices of talents of all 4 so well together. Which is why, without Michael Steele, I just don't care for them nearly as much... especially since the remaining 3 seem hell-bent on pretending that Steele never existed (at least if you look at their website).

@epsteinsmutha1 I agree. Columbia Records screwed things up royally by presenting Hoffs as the lead vocalist, when there was, in truth, NO lead vocalist, but 4 very talented and beautiful singer/songwriter/musicians whose songs got equal time on the albums.

I agree with everything you posted except I saw stuff to change me mind. I used to think that Lady Gaga and Katy Perry were talentless hacks. Just put in LG's original name (Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) and look at her stuff from 2005 or so - you'd be blown away. Also Katy plays a mean guitar too. I don't blame them doing what they need to do to get their foot in the door - I blame the industry but they're just catering to the mass audience - so basically it's all our fault.

This is a cool live version, but if you watch the original Less Than Zero era video of the rock-out song ( in HD)? Wow. Hotter than gasoline through a rocket fired into hell. And that's just my unnatural Vicki Peterson guitar lust obsession. Regardless? They never get respect they truly deserve. Hell with GaGa and Brit and Xtina and KatyPerry. Think THEY could PLAY real music or sing REAL vocals? Hardly. THIS is what girls should aspire to in music. Long live the Supersonic Bangs!
