@happyanimepeace request a japanese straight perm. its costly...depending on your length..but mine is about $250-$300. but it lasts me months and months till my new growth starts showing, which is like 6 months.

a regular and cheeper perm will work for you but you have to keep on going back more often for touch ups or redos.

If she is on an off base school where seeing someone who isnt full japanese is uncommon, there might be a little trouble.When I went to school off base,some kids were really nice to me and tried to help me as much as possible.Other were mean and said things like"EVERYONE WHO IS A FORGEINER RAISE YOUR HAND!"since we were all young, they didnt understand that im from japan too
