Their first record is shit but their second album is great and I think some of the songs on their fourth album are good too (Such as This Cold Black which is straight up thrash) and before you go saying I don't know what metal is, I listen to many "real" metal bands like Testament (obviously), Death, and Opeth. I just think Slipknot gets a bunch of shit because they wear costumes and their first album was nu "metal" theyre still a good band.
