I don't think I ever saw a popular singer refering to a little paper to remember the words - was this singer and song a last minute addition to the concert? It seems like someone said - "Hey, Ramesh got stuck in traffic, who knows this song to sing with Shreya?" The lighting tech says "Hey - I used to know this, I sang it at a Karaoke bar last month. Just write down the words, and I'll try it out"

Both the singers are the singers of the original. They are singing as they sang in original. Particulary male singer sings more as original than Shreya Ghoshal when not considering Shreya's voice is mesmerizing.
