I've been playing the piano since I was 6 years old for my church. I'm 21 now. I play by ear oand read music. Mostly play by ear though. This boy is way better than I was at that age. He is blessed!! If me and him were to have a shout music battle this boy would most likely beat me! This boy has pure God Given Talent! He needs to keep playing. God Will Bless him even more!

WOW! Great musicality and placement to be so young! He is obviously a natural and playing by ear! This is I know because I too, played and learned this way as a kid. Also, his facial expression is of the look that it is too easy, its the norm for him and not challenging. I hope that he continues to play gospel, but his parents should seek training in other forms such as classical, jazz, etc. to expand his gift.
I have seen that look in many musicians in church that they are not being challenged. As good as this young child is, I fear that if he is not challenged musically, he will get bored with music. I see it in his eyes. I hope that you all nurture Jayden and put him in classes to learn the different forms of music from salsa, classical, etc...get him going towards getting degrees in music. He is fantastic now, but with training he will be an influence ON music and over millions.

@DJKDiz I agree with your assessment that some folks have that expression. I hope that is all it is. Like I have said I think this child is beyond talented and I just hope that those around him nuture his gift so that he is even more spectacular when he is 18 and he can get scholarships for music. That is my hope.

@amuesi Its Not That Hes Not Being Challenged , Its A Look Of "This Is Nothing" I Can Tell He Enjoys Playing, I Doubt He Will Get Bored Because There ARE More Challenging Things To Play. Its Just Confidence. That Look Leaves More OF An Effect On People. Kinda Like "WOW He Doesnt Even Have To Try" Thought.
