I did this for my nails! But, instead of purple, I used hot pink, and it fades to a pale pink. I used Sally Hansen Nail Art Pens. They sell them at any Walgreens, CVS, or Rite Aid! It doesn't gush out or anything. It's a very smooth application. :-)
