I just got a 360 elite (jasper model) and i love it, my one problem with it is the dvd drive seems to be alot louder than my old 360, i kinda makes a grinding noise, but it doesnt scratch any of the disks so i guess its just a different dvd drive

I still run with my limited edition halo 3 360 and havent had any probs yet so I dunno what that means? awesome 360? I guess it is lol.

well its obvious that its going to be louder since xbox 360 games require more memory and video. In xbox games the graphics arent as good so the xbox wouldnt have to run harder.

You really want a jasper chipset. They reduce heat a lot and supposobly are quieter than the falcon 360s.

Thanks man. The ps3 (80gb) is supposed to go down to 299 in April so (sorry xbox fans) i might buy that instead. The 360 is going down to $250 in June but i mean, even though Jasper's use less heat and stuff i still feel safer with ps3. I might change my mind though..

Hey Thanx bro I appriciate that, that shit had me a bit worried, I thought my Jasper was the only one that was a bit louder when playing 360 games compared to original xbox games. Oh yeah by the way how do you get your videos from your camcorder to your computer? Do have a digital camera or is it the oldschool taper ones???
