3:47 to 3:58 how do you do that? by that i mean selecting multiple points and making it symmetrical?

It went something like

1. Select all (faces)

2. Extrude (individual faces)

Then I had the thing on which lets me do things according to the object's individual center points(some kind of a pivot option), so when i scaled faces, they scale relating to their individual centers.

Zagupi, I can't figure out what's the trick behind the plane sequence, particularly from 1:55 to 2:05, the city (Discombobulator ?) seems to be bended... Is it an extreme camera setting or what ? Also between 5:00 & 5:10... very odd stuff

1. make an object

2. animate it to rotate indefinitely

3. parent the object to another object

4. scale the parent along an axis (or two, but not three)

1. Make a landscape that is ring-shaped.

2. Animate the landscape to rotate.

3. Make a helper object.

4. Parent the landscape to the helper object.

5. Scale the helper.

Awesome video, great track & I really like that GUI-only animation Idea. Unfortunatly I didn't managed it to come to BP this year. :((

I would have loved to be in the crowd while this was showed at the mainscreen.

BTW: I started to migrate to blender about a year ago (that time mainly due to the license and the UV-tools). Today I wonder why I wasted so much time with some other 3D-Software ;))

After just starting to get into Blender, this has pretty much made up my mind for me. As a user of 3DS Max and Softimage, I saw Blender as a great idea, but not up to par, but with the latest 2.5 release coming up, I am starting to see more and more reasons to switch, the biggest plus being it's free. I had no idea it could do so much!
