The cops in that neighborhood and pretty much all over south and west St. Louis Counties seemingly go out of their fucking way to look for trouble and sometimes just to downright harass people. This is no surprise, cops thought process: guilty until proven innocent. My cousins car was searched for driving "too slowly" through my banks parking lot after being pulled over, stopping me while I already walking to the ATM. Worst part about cop mentalities is that the people who get fucked by them, whether innocent or not, always pay. Police departments should be required to pay the legal/impound fees of the innocent. Until something similar happens this mentality will stick.

Seen this shit happen to myself. Had my elbow shattered by a cop when I was arrested then I find out Im getting charged with resisting arrest. Then Im being followed for a few weeks and then my friends houses start getting raided by cops. All because one fat cop accidently broke my arm when he was "arresting me".

The "police" have cameras to record misbehaving civilians, so the civilians need cameras to capture misbehaving "officers." :) Police officers are exponentially more dangerous than street criminals.
All cars should be sold with cams standard- most police have them, and it poses no threat for anyone if civilians have them. It could help insurance companies, medical treatment staff, engineers, etc. Educational and psychiatric standards are astoundingly low for most LE entities, yet they carry the weapons to deal death. This is no surprise, cops thought process: guilty until proven innocent. My cousins car was searched for driving "too slowly" through my banks parking lot after being pulled over, stopping me while I already walking to the ATM. Worst part about cop mentalities is that the people who get fucked by them, whether innocent or not, always pay. Police departments should be required to pay the legal/impound fees of the innocent. Until something similar happens this mentality will stick.

When a dentist fills a cavity for another dentist, that's professional courtesy. When one cop allows another to get away with speeding or drunk driving, it is helping someone get away with a crime. I suggest that everyone have a camera in their car. It is the ONLY way to catch unprofessional cops. For those cops who are professional, they will have nothing to worry about. Having a camera is not baiting or entrapment. It's just protection. Besides, don't the cops always say that if we have nothing to hide, then they should be able to search our cars or house? Only cops can be charged with "entrapment" a citizen could never be charged with entraping a cop. The "police" have cameras to record misbehaving civilians, so the civilians need cameras to capture misbehaving "officers." :) Police officers are exponentially more dangerous than street criminals.

All cars should be sold with cams standard- most police have them, and it poses no threat for anyone if civilians have them. It could help insurance companies, medical treatment staff, engineers, etc. Educational and psychiatric standards are astoundingly low for most LE entities, yet they carry the weapons to deal death. Doctors, on the other hand, go through many years of formal school then training

Yes I've been thinking about rigging a camera in the car when I drive. There are so many good things it can serve, especially if there's an accident or a police confrontation. Unfortunately unless it's hidden, it might only escalate theft.
