  • I love this song and the way it's sung in this video is awsome.

  • THE WATCHERS CROWN I Pete 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS II Tim 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, THE RUNNERS CROWN I Cor 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race, THE CROWN OF LIFE James 1-12 ;crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. THE SUFFERS CROWN Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: Rev 3:11hold that fast which thou hast, that no man takes thy crown,

    THE CROWN OF REJOICING

    1 Thess 2:19-20

19 For what is our hope, or joy,

or crown of rejoicing? Are not even

ye in the presence of our Lord

    Jesus Christ at his coming?

20 For ye are our glory and joy.

  • WOW!!! I know Terry and Chris Franklin!!!! I didn't know he was part of GVB!!! Thank you for sharing this! This made my week.

  • The group of Michael, Mark and Terry WAS by far the absolute best. What a sound!

The video this song comes from is my all time favorite, just outstanding.

Michael's I Bow on My Knees is the best ever on this video

  • What a tenor voice! Thanks

  • I've known Terry since he and his wife, Barbi, were part of our fellowship group, at Calvary Temple Church, in Naperville, IL. Met them in June '87. Lovely man, sweet spirit , great friend. Terry, my man, you knocked this 1 out ot the park. Bravo, my brother! Love you, Dave

  • Man... this song gets me every time. Michael, Terry, and Mark sure knew how to tear a roof off. Wish i could have seen this live. Oh if only.

  • I heard this song for the first time when my wife were serving as missionaries in Papua New Guinea why up in the Highlands about 2 hours from civilization and this song got me through. "if the place your called to labor, seems so small and little known," that is where we were.

  • Gaithers, thank you for singing one of my old favorites.

  • I love this one but I also like to hear Larry Ford sing this one.

  • I love Terry Franklin on this song! Thanks for posting! :)

  • Wow, Terry Has A GREAT Voice!

  • Hi rs0416, it is from the praise gathering from around 1993. you can find it at amazon dot com. just read the song list to be sure you have the riht one. little is much, i bowed on my knees, satisfied, personal saviour, there is a river are a few of the songs on there. Hope you get it, it is really good. Rick....

  • Does anyone know what video this is on?

  • It's on Praise Gathering in Atlanta.

  • this is when it was still held in Indianapolis.....

  • Terry Franklin was one of my favorite tenor singers for the GVB. This maybe just the best sounding GVB ever!

  • I almost forgot about Terry Franklin and now I am on the hunt for some Jonathan Pierce videos on here. He also had a great voice. Yes, Rickster, Bill does say that about every Gaither Band Group being the best. I am really enjoying the older clips you have posted on here. Thanks

  • Who is that little blondie.. I thought I kknew everyone in SG music!

  • it is Terry Franklin, he was with them for about a year or so, not long. Bill thought this may have been the best quartet of the GVB lineups. But he says that about all them it seems, lol. Jonathan Pierce took Terrys place after he left. Rick,,,,

  • @Rickster38 Terry Franklin may be the purest quartet style singer of the all the men who sang the high part.....Pierce was a great solo guy, as is David Pehlps....the second purest fit for quartet music is actually with them now - Wes

  • @Rickster38 I think this is in the top two personally lol Along with Guy Penrod and David Phelps with Mark and Bill

  • What a beautiful somg.

  • What a great song.

  • Thank you for posting this. Beautiful!!
