  • Nice!

How long have you been a programmer?

  • You just used the windows API? Wow thats just incredible.

  • for just windows API, your graphics are immense :D

  • OMFG!!!! how did you do that?!?!?! I WANT IT!!!

  • Those asteroids look like little poops.

  • Aren't those the graphics from Gamemaker? I swear I saw that game when I had it a long time ago.

  • @gamedevMike

Yep, those are definitely the GM example graphics, but it doesn't stop this from being an original production, of course, and this actually looks a lot smoother, and those particles were not in the GM example, were they?

    @garethmcaid

Why are you using the Windows API? Something like SFML is probably way easier, and would be portable with no changes to the code at all, if you do it in the right way.

  • very nice =)

  • you only need 1 level don't you? not includeing a front and back end.

  • Can you direct me towards some 'pixel perfect collison' tutorials please, i only know the crappy bounding box types and they rarely even work well.

  • Awesome...that looks great!!! so this program can do what i want...

  • Good graphics too

  • Lol, I feel like a really dirty, poor noob now... I've been trying to look for info on how to make suff like that, but I couldn't find anything out. Plus, it doesn't help that I'm not the biggest computer wiz around, lol... Great video, 5 stars.

  • Get a good IDE: Code::Blocks, then learn C++, then get SDL and read the documentation.

  • very nice

  • AWESOME! Can you post the source code please?

  • This is some really nice quality programming. I'm hoping I'll be at least this good when I learn more.

  • Impressive in school we are already star programing

  • Really nice, i've just started learning c++ and was wondering what to do with it and i had no idea i could do anything as cool as that. I'm still stuck on the DOS, can't find out how to add buttons and stuff to a windows app, could you put that project into a .rar or something and put it on rapidshare? It'd really help:D thanks either way.

  • If you have Dev-C++ Go to the main directory and look for some folder called 'Examples' there is another folder it contains a basic file editor, other than that. you must program Resource files and headers and cpp just to get one button

  • awesome how long did it take your to write this and how old are you?

  • wow, thats great,

never thought u could make a game using Windows API, always thought people usually used SDL or opengl

can u post the source code?

  • That's awesome!

  • really good
