@xiuminglee This one in the video is the original pot. The one with black liquer paint which you had was the new one, which is less tasty. Many shops abandoned using the old kind of pots because the new ones are much more easier to clean using detergents.
what he said was true... these shops will be closed probably in 8-10 years... its not very popular with young people anymore, but me myself, im a teenager and my dad cooks it for me and i love it!! im really worried about traditional chinese food
love hong kong street stalls. they are really very tasty. try them !

Clay pot keeps the aroma/smell, so when you eat the food, it smells and taste better.

Obviously China. Invented a 1000 years ago. Chinese migrants brought it to Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
