the tales games final bosses are always usually never "evil" like demonic crazy evil, they're usually just misguided

Richter was one of those odd bosses that you couldn't help but accept that his plans were actually for the best and not letting him win actually doomed the world to a slow death. Plus Richter is probably one of the coolest looking final bosses who oddly resembles Tri-Edge.

Spoiler:

His plan was not to release demons onto the world but destroy Ratatusk who seeks to destroy all the humans and then use his own body to keep the demons at bay for an eternity, saving the world twice over.

Richter deals alot of damage when he can get good combo on you so I keep add combo and sky combo on max so I can distract him for casters

If you're talking about Ars Nova then no, you just need Emil and Marta in the party, having Light or Darkness as the primary attribute, and one light and one dark for secondaries.

Well to be honest I always cant stand dying so on my 2nd playthrough, i carried over max level monsters, max items and then went and kicked his ass EVERY SINGLE TIME >:(

on the hardest difficulty this bastard have over is lv120 and have over 300000hp

but its still not the hardest boss in the game

there a special boss in a dungeon you unlock when you finish the game he have over 400000hp with a lot of monster with him with over 250000hp each i dont really know what you get if you kill him but surely something very rare :P

well there 2 special dungeon in fact

you can unlock both by finishing the game but one of them require some special thing to do you have to do a special mission each chapter at the begining of the chapter 5 to the 8 and the mission at the chap 8 is the one where you fight this insane boss but i dont remember the name of the dungeon

You mean the twilight palace? Yeah...That's really hard. Main boss has 314000 HP on normal and his minions have 100000+ HP each. You get Emil's best weapon Nether Traitor - 551 P. Atk, Regenerate 3, Accelerate

I almost beat this guy on my first try! I heard the best party to use for this guy is Emil, Marta, Lloyd and Colette.

I'm gonna try leveling up some (I'm at Lv. 50) then rematch him.

i just finished the game last night, although I think I glitched past him. I must've tried like 30 or so times to beat him (first playthrough, not much grinding), but one time after I lost (god knows how many tries), the game went on as if I'd beat him. Whether it was a glitch or if the game just took pity on me, I'll never know

Don't worry once you're level 200, it does probably about 100,000 damage for one mystic arte from Emil.

about 60.. but you can be as low as 50 and it still be fairly easy

One thing I noticed, is that most people do not know how to chain things after Raining Fangs. Try Sword Rain: Alpha or Light Spear Cannon. Works like a charm.
