  • sounds like a ripper

  • @Hankhill90210 It did pretty well, Shortly after this video I changed gearing for more topend.. it made it nice on the State Routes...

  • @Foxboss9 nicee.. what ratio did you go with? i tried the 31 and it seems to loose rpm up top. so i want back to the 28/22 combo

  • what gearing are you using? what mods?

    Thanx

  • when im going 40-50MPH and cars are still passing me, i feel like theyre just uncomfortable being stuck behind a moped and are afraid of getting in an accident.

  • is this a 24mm flatslide carb?

  • @ahohman VM20 ROUND

  • Love the commentary bro, lol.

  • I have a big bike as well, but you have to take tiny bikes for what they are. Transportation. I have a Tomos motorcycle (same as the moped but without pedals) with an upgraded 70cc head, oversized carb, free flow muffler and plus 3, minus 3 sprockets which yields 64 mph on level roads. Cruise is easilly 50+. You know what? That's not bad for a 70cc "moped" that weights 115 pounds and gets 125 mpg during normal everyday use.

  • Haters gon' hate. Fuck-em. MOPED ARMY BITCH!!!

  • lol!! when your grown up you can get a real bike.......

  • @willsrr86 When you grow up you realize how easy a "real bike" is to make go fast and how much more of a challenge and fun the small ones are. (Last real bike I owned was mild tune turbo'd V-max)

  • @Foxboss9 oh WOW money bags... But so far I have only seen a little moped in your videos..It's cool tho, I had one when i was 14 also. With a v-max worth spending 4K to buy and install a turbo being around 20K. (new).... I would like to know what you do for a living. or a video of you riding it and (or) pics of the pipes on the bike with the mounted turbo, turbo size, cylinder compression, boost psi, belt or shaft??? what size motor is it?

  • @willsrr86 I was a motorcycle technician. I am now an OPEESA mechanic. I did all the work after hours and all the parts were at cost. And when was 10K too much to go fast? When it comes to " real bikes" all you need is $ and you go fast, thats why I say the small ones are more fun and challenging. I am now an OPEESA mechanic.. I bought my Vmax new in 87 I did the build for about a year 91-92. No Videos as camcorders were huge and bulky back then(vhs).I pieced it together There were no "KITS"

  • @willsrr86 He likes Mopeds. What's wrong with that? Oh you had one when you were 14? Stellar logic, brilliant, they’re obviously only for kids if you had one when you were 14. It's nice to see than grown men like yourself still find time to log on to youtube and talk shit about other peoples interests.

  • @Foxboss9 Also how you "tuned" the turbo at home!Do that and ill reply back with my bike (2005 gsxr1000,jet kit,D.I.D sprocket/chain, two brothers exaust, perelli tires, fork straps/kill cord, dino@146hp) Thanks!!!!!

  • Good thing you chose a rural area for your speed test! =)

  • @pheenix42 I have to drive 12 miles to see anything else other than rural

  • you ever get pulled over for going faster than 20 on a moped?

  • @adb140275 No, but i make sure I follow the posted speed limit.

  • for his sake, yes

  • Well at least Mr. Passerton didn't run you into the ditch.

  • I wish I could, However Ohio moped laws stste you cannot be more than 3 foot from the right hand burm unless path is obstructed or turning. Moped laws suck in Ohio

  • Nice tomos you have there. The reason he's passing you is because you stick to the right side of the road. If you ride at the left side of the middle of your lane, then car drivers will not try to pass you and they won't create any dangerous situations.

  • anthrax!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is tomos targa good going up hill? i you weigh 200pounds? im selling mine i never road it some dude wants to know

  • @dannyboyqw as long as it has stock sprockets he should be fine but it really depends how big the hill. I went up every hillI I encountered slowly but surely. Although this moped had engine mods for more power I still slowed down its hill climbing ability with 31 frnt and 20 rear sprockets and I am 6'0 230#.

  • i losened the gov. and increased fuel intake

  • @conrail2

what specs? bigger carb, new ignition system, k and n air filter,

carbon fiber reads, taking off fairings, spoked wheels.?

  • time for a new clock

  • i tuned my 2000 tomos targa lx and it was clocked in at 76.43MPH is that good?

  • @conrail2

NO...it IS.....AWESOME.... how did you manage to do that?

  • If you remove the right hand side cover you will see the idle screw(its the one with a spring on it)

Make sure your moped is running for at least 2 minutes before you adjust it. Also turn on your lights so you adjust it with the extra "drag" of the magneto generating that power. And one last thing make sure your throttle cable is not hanging up and allows the carb slide to fully open and fully close at least to to the position the screw is holding it to,

  • hey i was wondering if you could make a video or just explain to me how to turn the idle down on a tomos targa. my idle seems to be pretty high, and i wana lower it. i know you have to adjust a screw but i cant find the screw, is it under the plastic covering the carb? please reply back soon!
