Kdoza's comment is one reason for his placing 3rd. It's a BLUES competition. I'm not knocking his playing or proficiency. Both are excellent! Great clean tone, but you've got to mix it up some to keep the audience's interest. Same for his stage presence, there's got to be show with the go. ..justin who??

I dont understand why you guys are upset he got third. Nothing really stuck out to me. I didn't like the tone to much and he didnt have any catchy hooks to really stand out to the judges. KOTB is more than just improvising over a track. You can't through scales the entire time.

3rd??? are you kidding? this is one of the best KOTB vids I've seen on youtube. I applaud you for night hiding behind tons of distortion and compression. Your honest tone and killer phrasing really make you stand out.
