Where exactly is this in Des Moines? I've heard of it over the years I lived in Ames / DM area but never checked out the island. I'd love to go when I make it back to town in the near future.

I was JUST there yesterday wishing there was a video just like this one to watch, no kidding! Thanks for posting, fabulous little video.....Riverview was the best, and I miss it very much.

my mom used to go there when she was a kid . I went to north high in the 90s ,i think before it was what it is now .My friends and I used to go there and check out the old band stand and the tunnel of love is still there!
