I only ever watched this film once - halfheartedly whilst at work (it was on in the background) and the theme song got stuck in my head and I find myself sometimes singing this song (inside my head of course!) and always remembered the lyrics as being 'Pippi Longstocking's coming into your life' rather than world'! Weird how we remember things differently. Catchy song though - one of my many guilty pleasures!

Wow, this movie was so awesome (still is). This was my favorite movie when I was a little girl. I use to watch it over and over again. My mom bought this movie for me and I just couldn't get enough of it. I love this movie so much and the songs in it. Whoever uploaded this video, you are awesome. Man this brings back memories! I totally LOVED this film and this song when I was a young girl. I was actually nicknamed Pippi because I was a bit precocious and mischevious fun loving girl like her.

I believe that you've made a small error in the lyrics you've posted though.

At the end of the 2nd part of the chorus I'm pretty sure they sing "She'll throw your life into a whirl".
