@jerseyirish L.A has it's perks just like NYC. But I admit, NYC has this oomph about it that makes me want to go there. Either way, LA has Hollywood, beaches, warm-sun roundly, a planetarium on the highest mountain, museums, broadway musicals, festivals every weekend, EVERY THEME PARK, studios in which movies are created, and so on so... I mean, it's a fascinating place. I love the culture, diversity, and excitement. LA represent entertainment. I love LA and NYC!

This version is nice but it's not like the original version. The main piano & drums don't come until the last 30 seconds of the song. And in my opinion it adds to the feel of being in New York. Jay-Z's lyrics also summarize New York a little better. I guess Alicia Keys thought she had to put her own rendition on the album, but when you put them side to side I don't think they match.
