what makes the 5cyl so great to turbo is because it is and inline. Just look at supras, skylines, and even jeeps. Any inline motor is sick when it turbo, its jsut somethin about the inline, that makes them sick. I love inlines to death. But im still a good old v8 turbo man. But my next best would be and inline 6 turbo.

The 5cyl inline turbo has been around forever in eruo cars, its a great setup. Alot of guys think odd # cylinders are unbalenced. Search general lee audi. its sick!! inline 5 t.

@cobra96svt570 Can't forget the 2.8L [i think that was the right displacement] Volvo I5 turbos. My Canyon has the 3.7L I5.....I think the best setup would be an Individual throttle body intake manifold. It'd be slightly less than fun to get in tune most likely and be even more thirsty than the average V8, but it'd be fun to see done!

Yes yea, it's always some buddy somebody knows.... Look, I own a 2004 i4.... Many mods one including a 100 hp wet shot.... T3 commin soon... I've been an auto tech for 5 years now and have been around a shop my whole life.... Like I said in the last comment.. No engine is bulletproof... But the deeper your pocket book..........

that was a kit developed back in 04 or 05 that isnt made anymore, they made one kit and tried to sell it off for a LOT of money, no one bought it..

there was no marketing for it, shit video.. no numbers..

for 1 thing it depends on how much power you wanna make? these 3.5 motors are limited in power, im talking like 450 max, if your going to swap the motor do a LS2 or even go as differant as a 383 stroker and turbo that
