does the atom utilize hyperthreading? if so, then the atom is not THAT bad. I've been able to play games and stream video on my atom equipped netbook and it has only have 1 gb of memory.

I like intel atom processor it save lot of money for me plus am only a basic guy that do lot of internet.

Intel Atom CPUs are SLOW, but they made ultra portable PCs alot more affordable (they were priced AWFULLY high befre the Atom-based netbooks were released) and use very little power.

i have 2gb ram, 320G hdd, GMA 950, windows 7!!!!! ITS SUCKS!!! i'm getting new PC for gaming!

depends on your internet connection but don't expect 720p

@minipcpro with my Intel atom n270 @ 1.7GHz ( I overclock it using super hybrid engine ) I can watch 720p even also using the Intel 945 GPU @ 400MHz( default clock)

@zloadesf Compare the atom with a low end celeron processor. Dualcore Pentium processors crush the atom processor :D. Atom is mostly for energy savers. Good for 320p youtube vids, 2d games, word and stuff like that.
