The one thing that amazes me tho, is how KZ2 and KZ3 stay true to the original concept. As you see small previews of Helghan, you can still see that discoloring in KZ2 and 3.

i think its more of mix of the Nazis for uniform the emphasis of war above all else & speeches etc and British Empire(mostly 16th-early 20th century) for execution for stupid and little things like uniform and cowardice and killing all captured on certain occasions also the poetic like of the speeches and the dry sense of humor of the helghast troops etc the soviets for civilian killing etc mainly these three it draws similarities from it doesn't favor one or the other tbh

If you were still living in the main battleground then you sure as hell wouldnt show your face in the heat of battle would you now?

Killzone 1 was so epic, its so sad to see how Killzone 3 turned out.
