@KoMighty When Govenment subsidizes anything it corrupts it. If there is competition in education, tuition drops and quailty rises. Just as in medical care. When subsidies go to drug companies and medical insurance carriers, prices rise and quality of care drops (meat markets). A free market in electronics IE: Apple, Microsoft with no subsidies, quality rises in electronics and communications and prices fall as in cellphones and cell service.

Look at Berkley right now. You got tuition hikes and kids being maced. The education system is broken. School has inflated 500 percent since 1985 while other consumer goods only 115 percent. @shaolonbros Education is being cut a LOT in California, and there are so many students depending on loans and everything. Currently im in California applying to college, and it seems really bleak. Private colleges fees range around 30k to 50k a year, and University of California colleges, which are federally funded range from around 20k to 30k not including other expenses. We are already cutting education, and its not really helping ME. So why should he appeal to ME?
