Im looking to buy a cb radio. I want to be able to transmit far and receive from far. Maybe like 50 miles? Somebody point me in the right direction? What other parts i need for the cb radio? Help

That many radios might be useful if you had more than one brain, one mouth and one pair of ears. I haven't met anybody like that, even on the legal channels.

couldn't agree more, i came back on in 2007 for the first time since 1984 and couldn't believe how much it had changed. so i done my ham test and have never looked back, there's no comparison.

make a dipole out of 50ohm coax. this antenna does not have to go upright. it can be strung across the roof of the house or the attic horizontaly. it is made of only coax. look it up and you should find it.

I had one of those many years ago. Great linears. I had a problem early on when a high-voltage capacitor exploded, but after replacing that, ti served me well. Does it still use the 6KD6? As I recall, you could squeeze about 140 watts PEP out of it, and those valve watts really travel :)

That is almost correct my friend. The mic is a Sadelta Bravo Plus, no echo on this mic. But it has a dobbel rogerbeep, its a switch on the backside of the mic.

This is working exellent on my Jackson, and my Jacson is from the very first series, anfd it is a very good radio too :)
