Do you find he is a perch potatoe or is yours busy playing in is cage. I have had one for fourteen years now and want another one but do not now how he would act if I got another.
he's actually a little of both. I have a perch of his in the window and he loves that. When he's not on that, though, he's a real curious boy and kind of all over the place (really depending on where I am)...
How old is yours. Mine has always had to be at a window. If Imoved the cage from the window he would go straight back to that corner where the cage was and I always had to put it back. He also loves to be high on a get a grip and loves preening the rope.
Eddie's a great bird. After having a bird just like him for 10 years, I lost my maximillian pionus, Beaver, by letting his wings grow out. I hated to clip his wings because I thought not being able to fly depressed him. One of the biggest mistakes of my life. I still miss him.

he just turned five. He's not too "spot" specific (outside of his window perch). He jsut likes being anywhere in the same room, really.
