possibly the geekest G I've seen. his music is dope. glad he decided to use the hip-hop genre as his main musical outlet. some of his lyrics are iffy but production is on diamond point
Love this guy, Cassette City is a great album. Not normally into hip-hop, but this stuff has such an inviting sound, and him being a real musician on many levels really helps too.
And how did a white/indian, whatever he is(he ain't black, lmao) get to be this soulful and in tune with the true essense of hip hop. It's freakin awazing, lol.
Dude is a beast. B+(maybe a-) rhymes. Insane production work. Extremely talented. He will go far just as long as the industry doesn't ho him(which unfortunely is a near certainty). Good to hear more guys trying to get hip hop back to its glory days. We need guys like this.
people saying this dude lacks heart and soul have zero clue. This dude is one of the freshest voices in hip hop. His flow isnt effected, that is how cats from Philly sound. What you misconstrue as "lack of soul" is called originality. The "lacks heart" comments may be the funniest ish I have read in a while. This dude murders every track, which he also produced and played the insturments for. That is the definition of heart. You 50 Cent fanboys, need to **** off home.
That's right, I am not done. If you cant appreciate this dude's musical abilities, you may want to consider the fact you dont know what the **** you are talking about and might want to keep your opinons in check while serious people are talking lest you embarrass yourself.

I agree that he probably should stick to production(he seems talented) and possibly ghostwriting. Its annoying when people rap in a "faux NY hip hop voice", he reminds me of that d-bag RaScion when he raps.

nope. dude is just an imitation. He's a fan of the art form. He just emulating and imitating he lacks the soul. Maybe he should just stick to producing. But even that sounded very average. He might be a great musician. But very average hip hop music at best. You lack knack and he vitamins. I dont hear the hunger for it in his.music the hunger from which hip hop was birthed.
his album has crazy production on it. styles very similar to that of 9th wonder (minus the snare hits) and the use of samples and harmony like that of the late great J-dilla. and as for the lyricism, very reminiscent of camp-lo in their "uptown saturday night" days. i gotta admit i was real surprised with this album.
What happened to this dude? This album was fucking incredible and I can't find anything new from him now

@TerminatorX87 because soulfulness doesn't come from your skin color... it comes from your soul.
