And it's an amateur project, so, really, can you expect it to be up to a professional's standards?

"Phantasia" is old as it can get, and still shines in many ways compared to this. I'm actually doing nothing more than stating the obvious. If you really like these kinds of things, why don't you try something more audaceous? besides, there are many Tales games out there, [ACS talesbattle ExF CC] yours could become famous too :)

It's because I'm an amateur that I'm not capable of doing something more audacious yet. Ocean is primarily a project to make a tribute to my favourite series and for me to get experience with game-making programs so that, hopefully in time, I *will* be able to make something more audacious. As it is now, I'm still learning the ropes.

I saw a flaw with boss battles and Unison Attacks.

Both are waaaay too overpowered....Have you ever killed a boss without a Unison Attack?

Actually, the Unison Attacks were included mostly as just a way of showing off what I can do with the program. I'm rebalancing things for the real game though. Think of the videos as just me showing off. :P

The one who made his mugshot was Ranna, but since I have all the spritework skills of a kettle I had to find a sprite that fit him and all I could come up with was a recoloured Zelos. Fortunatly, we have a new Areck sprite now, courtousy of the awesome blacklisted. XD!

They're a little bit like finishing moves in a way. Once an opponent reaches a certain level of HP a Unison Attack will automatically trigger. Well, up until now at least. After you get Hisham in your party you can do them manually and without waiting for the enemies to drop to a certain level of HP. I shall post up a tutorial of how to do them.
