DS9 was what you expact from the emmy award winning show, but the last season RMD was in charge was u expected. Voyager was garbarge throug out. Its no coincidence that Rick Berman + Branon Braga where in chrage of Enterprise even tho DS9 won the awards. Enterprise got good -AFTER - Braga left..really sad to see what those to left to Enterprise turn out as it did....

One of my favorite parts is Quark talking to Nog about 'hu-maans'.

It just really hits home how much this series explored all aspects of war and humanity, not just awesome space battles (of which it had plenty).

Ok. For all the comments over "no shields" Their are good reasons. 1. They have to deactivate their "bubble" shields in the secnes with entire fleets enguaging battle or risk hitting another ship.

2. The Dominion had weapons that could go through Federation shields.

it's not an episode. it's a story arc. DS9 (apart from season 1) didn't have the story into just 1 episode. It was more like a soap opera, with it ending in a cliffhanger and being explained further in the next episode. The Dominion War stretches 1 or 2 seasons.

fabes1983, the piece of music is called "Lux Aeterna" but as someone pointed out earlier, it is commonly known as Requiem for a Dream. It was used famously in the LOTR movie trailers.

seriously...nicely done. I like star trek a lot...but it gets such a bad name sometimes because the producers tend to "pusy-ize" it. If they made movies with alot more extensive battle scenes, it would get mroe of the publics' attention, and show all those people who are Anti-trekkie, that this franchise is amazing.
