i did chip the ecu but set the rev limiter to 7000 since the ls is completely stock and id like to keep it together so i can sell it when i swap in the planned lsvtec build. btw its running straight off the header in this video and it didnt sound as good as the video makes it seem, lol.
nice shit im thinking about doing this swap in a teggy then go turbo but i heard the ls tranny is good for turbo applications and the b16 is good for all motor any suggestions?

LOL. learn the difference between the b16 tranny with the chipped ecu with a higher redline and you'll be fast. unlike a long ass ls tranny where you have to wait forever to shift. even if you go turbo, i believe the b16/gsr tranny is best because every time you shift the power stays up there. l2race.
@HmoobSD revving higher has nothing to do with a b16/gsr tranny.... the gears are just shorter. to rev higher maybe put a gsr or b16 head not tranny...
only the door panels passenger seat and rear windows are removed only because its being prepped for paint and i was just taking it out for a quick run to keep me motivated lol.

the b16 tranny is good for high rpm. I personally would go with the b16 with the chipped ecu to redline at a higher rpm.
