Anderson knew if he struck offensively Demian would've been able to take advantage of that.

For those that don't know, Dana White is pissed at Anderson Silva because he mocked his opponent in the ring and taunted him, danced around a lot and yelled at his opponent during the fight. It was all a show. It was interesting and definetly worth checking out, but to a true MMA fan it was a disgrace and that's why Dana is mad. Anderson SIlva could've knocked the dude out in the first round, instead he toyed with him for all 3, and that's why Dana is pissed.

Anderson's a great fighter but his fight against Maia was not only the worse performance in UFC history but in MMA history as well. Maia and Silva have similar personalities in this aspect they are both masters of their defensive fight style. Anderson master of the defensive form of Muay Thai. Demian master of Jiu Jitzu which is a defensive art. And their personalities coincide with their fight styles. Anderson knew if he struck offensively Demian would've been able to take advantage of that.

I know alot about fighting i have trained in an mma gym for about a year and i was pretty good to. and i still have firends who train and fight boxing is not that hard nuythai take way more skill than boxing

you know shit about fighting! even though i'm a fan of anderson silva, he actually shows how limited mma can be!! the reason he wins most of his fights is because of his striking skills, but if you compare his striking skills with skills of a middelweight boxer like sergio martinez then you will see that anderson would have no chance against martinez!!! my point is: to be succesful in mma you don't need wrestling or bjj, you just need to know how to avoid takedowns and be the best striker

I watch many fights and i know about fighting. You must be a mayweather bitch he thinks he is a good fighter. @charliecobras anderson would never fight jones cuz hes scared of him. ddnt u see how after shogun won the title he said i will never go up in weight, its cuz he was scared of shogun. right after jones won the title anderson claimed that he is friends with jones and he cant fight him cuz they really close. its cuz hes scared of him. its not like anderson has to prove anything anyways by going up in weight. it would be stupid for him to go up in weight and lose

@TheUfctapout its very clear that anderson is afraid of jones becuase before when rashad was champion anderson said he would gladly go up in weight and fight for the title but then machida won and anderson said that thye train together so he wont fight then when shogun won he just pretty much denounced moving up entirely becuase he was scared of shogun and now that jones is champion he says jones is a close friend and he dsnt want to fight him so i dno what you are talking about

@charliecobras he tried to make it happen but diaz was too much of a child to deserve it just like how Silva didnt deserve his shot at GSP's belt after this fight. Yes, Silva was going to drop down to 170 and fight GSP for the welterweight belt but Dana scratched it after he saw how immature Silva was in this fight. Whats funny is if it had happened we wouldnt even be talking about silva, GSP would be the unanimously voted P4P best in the world right now.
