You always split the vote to give Harper is majorities. Keep up the good work you stupid fag. Make sure to wear a condom when fucking those pine trees.
It's all political. Have you studied United Nations Agenda 21 and how it's being implemented in the US? Search YouTube for "How your community is implementing AGENDA 21" The lady with long, white hair is a liberal speaking to a conservative group.
With Orange sweeping the country, it looks like the Liberals will be the bronze medalists this time round .. NDP has my riding locked-up, so I voted Green last Saturday (wish I was in Lizzie's riding, would love to stop Gary Lunn). At least CRAP's lieber führer won't get the majority ..
.. wow it just hit me .. Prime Minister Jack Layton .. poor stevie & michael .. they never saw it coming ..
@doomsword86 If you voted libs, that's fine. I don't loathe anyone, respect whatever they do whatever they think is best (for... whoever that might be). But moving on with progress is overdue. Wish i could vote for more than one, there are at least 3 worthy parties on the fringe, pick your own favorite! Strategic voting? Nah.. Proportional representation and democratic reforms, NOW! You'll see how different the results will be the next time around.
@truckomotive Proportional representation will throw this country into banana Republic status. We will have elections every year, costing us billions of dollars, with the Government always in a crippled state.
At least with FPtP, we have a chance at a strong, stable, and decisive Government.
C'mon people, why vote anything else than what your consciousness tells you? If you THINK Marihuana Party, you SAY Marihuana Party! If you SAY Greens, you DO Greens! Strategic voting is a consequence of our crooked electoral system. Of course, we might get started on changing the electoral rules to reflect prop rep, as well. It's about time. But for now, we vote! Don't vote for somebody else's party, make YOUR OWN wish! As for Rick: awesome piece! Hardest laugh in a long time.
@doomsword86 Is that the Libs who just desperately called in MrChretien to appear, the one who: "pepper? I put that on my plate"? The Libs who made CBC journalist Terry Milewsky disappear for quite some time because he stirred the smelly pot about how they covered up their asses on spraying protesters? The Libs who had to go because their friends had all their fingers and toes in the cookie jar? Will you refresh my memory? I keep forgetting who they are.
All Green Party supporters should vote NDP. Electoral reform is in the platform of the NDP, if Jack Layton gets the votes he can make it happen. Think about it - He knows it's unfair that the Green Party receives 1 million votes to the Blocs/Quebec 1.6 million votes yet the green party gets 0 representation and the bloc get 49 seats. That's not right. As a green supporter and a supporter of abolition of the Senate, and electoral reform I will vote NDP, - Give your support to Layton!
liberal can suck my nuts, conservatives arent that bad, NDP is just like the libreals, green actually can make tons of money and lower taxes by legalizing marijuana.
@doomsword86 This is exactly the wrong kind of thinking, in my opinion. Why vote AGAINST something (in your case Harper) when you can vote FOR something (legalized/taxed weed). It's because of this thinking that so many Canadians flip flop between Liberal and Conservative - whoever is in you want out at the next election. Vote Green if you like their policy and trust the rest of Canada to vote for better politics in the future as they see the Green numbers going up Canada-wide.
Naw, I'll die a gruesome death in a Harper gulag before I throw away my standards, values and dignity and vote LIEberal. Besides, the Canadian sheeple deserve to be beaten down thoroughly, over and over again until they freakin wake up.
I like the Green Party because they have a great grasp on the issues with democracy (for example, the middle class is the most populated class, so the lower class doesn't get much of a say) and they realize that the environment needs to be taken care of before the economy needs it. Invest in life, not short-term money.
@doomsword86 If your in a contested riding between the liberals and cons, vote liberal. But if like me, you live in a rich suburb that votes overwhelmingly conservative, best to toss the greens a vote(as parties receive a small contribution for each vote the receive in federal elections). So make sure you get out and vote!
John Stewart and Stephen Colbert do a fantastic job at entertaining and addressing serious political/social issues. We have the talent in Canada to do the same, but we do not value the talent, so they head to the States to work on programs like the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. I fully understand the political issue, I just think it was addressed in a very predictable and unfunny way.
I think Rick is a funny person, but I don't find his show very funny. It's interesting how this country has produced so much talent, but is unable to produce a decent comedy series (except Kids in the Hall and SCTV, but those shows had only a few funny skits). Too much financial temptation in the States I guess.
See that is the problem. People look at this only for the comedy element. The key issue is to make a point, not just entertain idiots! ... in a more light-hearted way on an otherwise depressing political situation in our country.
@roomlost Maybe your comedic tastes just aren't in step with Canadian humour. KitH have only a few funny skits? Please. It's the best sketch comedy show since Flying Circus. They give you gold and you turn your nose up at it. Yeah there's a lot of talent going to America but part of that is due to bigger population in the states. I'm sure Canadians value Neil Young but he was never going to be where the action was if he stayed in Canada. Even John Lennon moved to New York for crying out loud.
@doomsword86 I love left-wingers like you.
You always split the vote to give Harper is majorities. Keep up the good work you stupid fag. Make sure to wear a condom when fucking those pine trees.

@v9vREBORN .... the GALFED group ( Galactic Federation ) will be sending
their mothership to assist us !! BC has a larger landmass now and therefore
can accommodate more immigrants ( expected 125 million from Japan -soon)
Existing technology from Lemuria will be able to neutralize radiation residues. :)

(hypothetical situation) ... March 31/2011 Thursday.
A magnitude 9.5 quake has caused the disappearance of substantial
landmass in the Province of BC. However Lemuria has re-appeared
and its suggested that the Green Party & Liberal Party members to
relocate and develop this new frontier. All advanced technology
related to Green Energy production, Clean Water sources, Agricultural
production, etc., etc. will be available FREE of charge to all settlers.
.... :)
