For our Outlander SportI bought the cosworth drop in high flow filter (no oil), same as for the EVO X, and have run nothing but full synthetic oil, recently switching to Mobil 1 Full synthetic, and the thing now pulls pretty decently, even in normal D. Also when merging off of a line, we are using the paddle shifters for a fast pull and quicker to get into MIVEC. Using the paddle shifters was recommended and confirmed, as it doesn't bring on the eco light AND allows you to stay more in MIVEC.

@toyoracing89 The sport version has one offered I think, but from the quality of the transmission used, its the same as the lancer which is bad, we have manual lancer GT 2009 model, transmission broke twice. Took 3 months to wait for parts, although we had it on warranty is kinda annoying waiting for parts.
