  • in round terms:

    he says, that every reciter has his own way of reciting. he is not thinking, if this is "bayati", "sika" or ""nahawand". he concentrates only on the ajah/vers, he is reading, on the rules and breaks in her.

    the melody is coming from his inward, it belongs to his feelings.

    every qari recites "rast, etc.", but every "rast" is different from the other qari. its like everybody makes shortbread-cookies, but all are doing it a little different. every cookie has his own taste.
