I am going to disagree on a minor point. The first step is educate yourself because the schools aren't going to do it. Your first stop: the whole body of MLK's work. You understand what he was talking about, you have a bachelor's degree. When you can write about it intellegently, you have a Master's; when you can think and write as well as he can, you have a PhD. And if by some grace of God you can muster his moral authority, you can move nations.

"I have a dream" is way overplayed. this video is based on "riverside" speech. It is dense, layered, well thought out and articulate, and a history lesson all rolled into one.
