I loved the Shane/Cherie relatinship! it was so...pure. After they broke up and they see each other at the museum and Cherie says that she would like to run off with Shane but "in this fucked up world love like that doesn't exist" or something to that effect, i cried my heart out.
PS. I always thought it was 'loving happiness'. LAME! :D
