@aaronCapricorn you stupid. snipers need to be skillful. and you're blind. in close combat sniping is not good for sure. but at long distance snipers are very dangerous. there're different advantage and disadvantage for sniper and recon. sniper is good at long distance but not good in close combat. recon is good at close combat but not at long distance. sniper need to be calm and patient. recon need to be fast. it's just the different way.

@SheepBe21 You cant until after you kill them. but you have to get a headshot. If you get a headshot and you get your kill points, 50 points, plus 10 for a headshot, and dont get anymore, then the the shot was less than 60 yards. Or meters. i forget which. So if you get a headshot and dont get any more than 60 points, then they were less than 60 yds/meters away. If you get a headshot and you get 237 points, then they were 237 yards/meters away.

Don't teach people how to become better "snipers". Teach them how to become better Recon players. The last thing this game needs is more people sitting up in a tree or behind a rock doing nothing but sniping.

What I normally do, say in Heavy Metal for instance, is find a point between their closest base and B and just point out everything. Tanks, helicopters, infantry. And try to trace-dart things as well. Shooting gives your position away and cuts down on the intel gathering for your team.

@GMK9VII being killed once doesnt mean the other sniper is better. In a proper bfbc2 sniper battle, you and the other sniper can kill each other many times throughout the game, and if someone kills you a lot more than you kill them then they are being outsniped, which is round about the time you wanna rage quit.. but anyway one lucky shot doesnt make people a good sniper. do it consistently and youre good. im typing this with my penis.
