I've watched a bunch of performances of "Anything Goes" on You Tube & I think this one rocks! "Reno" has a voice to rival Patty - I wish I had pipes like that! Great, great, great!

This is amazing I loved it. All the nasty comments. geez! The dancers are very young obviusly and where did they get all those boys who can tap? Reno is perfectly cast. Who wouldn't want to be compared to Patti Lupone it was a smart choice. The set is very nice as well. I can tell the pit isn't fully covered so parts are bad due to no fault of their own. Most theatres cant afford to hire all the musicians the scores call for from experience. Wish I could see the entire show please post more!

Omg...the orchestra sucks. And as for the dancing...well, I don't have room to talk. Its better than I can do. Although that's not saying much. Lol. I think the main thing this ensemble is missing though is the excitement and energy. Great voice on Reno.

I only compared her to Lupone because she's copying everything she did, and I didn't mean to completely single her out for her dancing quality. The entire group is lacking the energy that would have made the dancing seem better. Pace and energy are more important than knowing the steps by heart.

I agree with Spyler that she is obviously going for Patty Lupone's performance. Nonetheless, I think her singing ability is great and it's enough to make the bored dancing style forgivable.

Reno has a powerful voice, but her acting and dancing are more than a little off. I see no character in her.

All of this choreography is an attempt to copy the Broadway revival's (see Patti Lupone video at Tonys). She even puts the same emphasis on her words as Lupone. And besides me being picky, there's no pace, no energy!

Actually, choreography is NOT written in scripts. They have general stage directions yes, but dance numbers are up to the show's choreographer. But, in defense of the choreography, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! If it works well, why change it? Granted this isn't as great as the broadway version, but the dancers are really pretty good. And I don't know who that chick is but she has a really good voice.

Chorus is good for amateurs; Reno woman does not fit the part - her voice is acceptable, not spectacular; her dancing is off. Sorry, but I cannot in good conscience compliment mediocrity.

Wow.  This is really good. Where is this company located?? And I LOVE the fact that the sailor farthest stage left starts before everyone else at the end of the song. There truly is NOTHING as exciting as live theatre!
