  • Nice...Been looking at this boat for a while now, i bought the surge crusher and it does around 50 on 5s but its much smaller..I think this hull can handle more speed then aquacraft motley crew...I have seen it do 50mph on 4s,so i think 65 mph should be doable on 6s with octura 442/2 ...i may just have to add this cat to my fleet...

  • @roadstar499

I highly recommend the Genesis as it can certainly handle the speed; there are guys getting even more out of it than me.

  • Is this an all stock setup, except for the motor, prop & speed control ? is the stock drive cable set up holding up ok ?

    Looks & sounds great !

  • @ratchet1974

Thank you. It is all stock except for the ESC, motor and flex drive. The stock drive cable broke on the first run. It is two pieces and far too weak for anything above stock. I replaced it with one from OffShoreElectrics.

  • Hi there, i have got that boat from you guys and can you tell me why mine one pulls into the right all the time please? Thanks

  • @Portuga71

Mine was hooking right badly because the prop was grabbing way too much water. I raised the strut up as high as it would go. It should be just about level with the bottom of the hull, maybe a degree or two up at the rear (prop end).

  • that guy recording really sucks, I can't see the boat because he is filming the other way -_-

  • @Halo117Pro

What are you talking about? The boat only leaves frame twice for half a second. Trying to follow the thing with an iPhone ain't that easy.

  • well in that case I stand corrected. just dont look like it on video ( never does it justice!) just to further my point, gps is reasonably accurate, just not THAT accurate. Only because of idiots on youtube. I can see that yours is genuine because of splashes on it lol! Wish my rig could do those speeds, it is an effin fast boat if it can pull 73 imho.

  • No doubt thats a fast boat, forgive me if im proved wrong, but that don't seem like 73mph to me, sorry. Real nice boat though, and yes does seem much happier at full throttle, very stable at full tilt.

  • @No1crash

Um, it is GPS verified...more than once. The power setups is also mathematically capable of this speed. So sorry, but it did 73.5 on this run.

  • very fast...where do you get a gps like that one?

  • @roadstar499

It is a Garmin 101, but any personal GPS will work. You can find them on eBay since the 101 is out of production.

  • What motor and esc are you using?

  • @ecoovert

It is a Leopard 4082 and a Swordfish 240HV esc.

  • @Sessholvlaru What kv?

    I have a 4082 1600kv with an Octura X440/3. Only 6S though.

Still yet to run it with this new motor & prop.

Not bad speed there, I have to get a GPS!!!

  • I prefere blades and wings but man that thing chips! :)
